You are incorrect. The first match was a No Contest, in the rematch Margarito lost to Santos by Technical Decision. After defeating Margarito, Santos lost his very next match a UD vs Serhiy Dzinziruk. Santos though would go on a 3 match winning streak only to lose to Yuri Foreman in his final match by UD on the undercard of Pacquiao Cotto.

Despite the loss to Yuri Foreman, Daniel Santos was an excellent fighter in his prime and fought Margarito tooth and nail in both encounters.
