With a few exceptions, watching Premier League football in many stadiums is utter garbage. Most clubs have boring, negative managers including Brighton, Norwich, Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Spurs (Under Mourinho), Wolves, Aston Villa, Burnley boring to watch with Southampton, Newcastle, Sheff Utd and Watford not much better at times. Liverpool and Man City worth watching every game along with Man Utd and Chelsea. Totally agree 2 Ants in a ring is very poor for boxing fans.
Lol@ putting Ancelotti on your list. Everton play crap football at the minute cos they have the worst midfielders in the league.
The toffees are so boring this year mate - Anshilliti selects the team but needs time to build his own team. Hope West Brom stay down as just another 4-5-1 bus to join the others.
You can add Jamie McDonnell to the list he beat Julio Ceja at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster, don't think it will make it very high on the list though
I agree they're boring, absolutely awful in some games but you can't call Ancelotti a boring manager, some of his teams have been great to watch. Playing the hand he's dealt and hopefully we'll see improvement next season when he has a few of his own players.
The annual Everton 0 Liverpool 0 fixture results in a post match party, attracts some high profile bus parking enthusiasts, including Tony Pullis, Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, Sean Dyche, Chris Hughton, and Jose Mourinho - all are regularly seen dancing with joy at 0-0 results with next to no action.
Nothing is worse than going from sitting in the chicken run at the Boleyn and almost being able to touch the players to then seeing the pitch moved across, then the stadium knocked down years later and then ending up in an athletics bowl with everyone giving you grief for it as if you chose to move there and sit 25 meters back from the action.
I went to the first ever game there, against Domzale, that was enough for me. I might be biased but Green Street and the old Boleyn Ground were amazing, it had everything you could want apart from a decent team but it didn't matter, I never supported West Ham thinking we'd ever win anything haha!
There's also Jack Bodell v Danny McAlinden at Villa Park and D..k Turpin v Vince Hawkins at the same venue. In the latter fight, Turpin became the first black British Champion.
