I didn't, actually. Tyson done what none of Wilder's opponents ever did: He got up. Then bashed him! So no, I knew Tyson would get him 2nd time around. Many would if they took his best and gave it him back. I'd just like to see some depth and variety to Tyson's resume. I mean, he's rematches the same guy THREE TIMES in like 2 years! LMAO.
And you are a guy I respect, but what you would rather re-watch does not necessarily constitute great boxing. You can get to Saturday night fighters who knock each other five times and it doesn't mean that they were in a great fight in the sense of two great fighters fighting great. And see above. It isn't about what you liked better or remember, or would rather see. Joshua struggled against a much lesser version of Klitschko than the one Fury handled. Period.
Okay, I'm confusing you with this other guy who shares your exact username ...... I never suggested otherwise. The first McDermott fight is no measure of Fury's ability now though. That's all I'm saying. People often tend to bring it up as some sort of argument about how 'beatable' Fury must be now, and that's insane. But if it's being brought up to show he got star treatment from the early days, yes, I agree that's fair enough.
Tony Hayers lurking ready to pounce on any Tyson Fury thread to have a dig at Tyson and Warden. Certainly a spin doctor for the Matchroom Party - the selective facts are astonishing at times. (eg Pedvetkin, Ruiz and Parker are greater wins than Fury winning away to long reigning champions Clit and Wilder.) Then he focuses on crowd numbers and TV viewers - WTF has this to do with achievements in the ring? Even pudding Whyte has at least £50m sitting in his bank account but no title shot. Tony Hayers is the type of guy that calls a Blue Bottle Fly a Calliphora vomitoria and spouts that it is a decent opponent racing a wasp even when it has lost both wings
I don't know if hayers is a matchroom employee or just hates fury because of something pretty harmless he said against his community years ago which he took personally? @TonyHayers any thoughts on barry hearns and sons close friendship with jeffrey epstein?
worse KO than that time the chinny robot went to crack america and shat his britches against the grinning obese mexican
Well, it was only a few months ago really, 5 or 6 months. There hasn't been a massive fight or even a big fight, or any fight really, for months now. So in a way Fury-Wilder 2 seems even more recent, because so little has happened since in heavyweight boxing .... and I really can't remember too many people being very sure or confident on here that Fury would do a job on Wilder or even that confident that he'd win. Never mind someone who doesn't miss an opportunity to repeat that Fury is overrated. I mean, I'm far more of a Fury fan and as the fight approached, all things considered, I wasn't at all sure he'd do it. I wasn't trying to catch Brixton Bomber out, I was surprised to learn that he "knew" Fury would get Wilder 2nd time round when most of us Fury fans were hedging a bit. So surprised, I thought I'd check it out and see if he'd received enough post-fight kudos for getting it so right.
