What's Sugar Hill? Sounds like a RomCom starring Anne Hathaway and Hugh Grant.

Or a persom maybe? Miss Sugar Hill, performing a song from her new album "Way Over the Hill"

There's only one widely accepted "sugar" moniker in boxing, and that's "Sugar" Nicolay Valuev. :ggg

Sugar Hill will definitely be getting a lot of calls I know he was the long term trainer of Adonis Stevenson but this victory is legendary and similar to the work Emanuel Steward did for Lennox and Wlad.. Even though Fury said what his gameplan was nobody believed him but got Fury to put on an OFFENSIVE CLINIC the way he did was nothing short of extraordinary and switching to Sugar Hill played a huge part in that.

The difference in Fury was very apparent. While Fury has fought aggressively before like when he mauled Cunningham and Wallin, he's never look so technically proficient and authoritative with the jab. He got rid of bad habits like backing up into corners and dipping down to his opponents level, which both gave Wilder openings before.

So for Sugar Hill, he may very well have a lot of tall boxers think he can pass on some of the Manny Steward knowledge and look to hire his services.

He's said that he will retire but wouldn't this be the worst time to do so?

He's only in his 40's so what else is he going to do for the next 20 to 30 years?

If he loves his job (and I'm sure he does) then why not continue?

I'm sure Tyson Fury would want to carry on working with him.

I thought he said it as a joke, unless he made other statements recently?

 One fight. One ****ing fight!
The amount of attention on the guy is astonishing. Same **** happened with Fury´s last trainer. Hailed as the next great thing in boxing.
No one cares about him now, it seems.

Take a step back and just give them some time. Let´s see where Fury goes from here. Amir Khan looked amazing under Roach, but slowly holes in his game were brought to light. And this has happened to plenty of others.

He was joking. I don't know if you have seen him speak much, but he has a dry sense of humour.

On the same night, he mentioned progressing with Tyson Fury - but of course, nobody reported that.

If people think 6 weeks with a new coach can change you significantly you're wrong

Fury has always had this ability, He hasn't come "forward" since Cunningham in 2013 & when he threw Ben's "gameplan" out of the window adapted and went after Wallin.

Great fighters can adapt on the fly. Nobody at HW can adapt like Fury.

The main thing I saw which Fury has never shown before was stiff arming his jab. It was fierce and extremely powerful.

Sugar will teach Fury some things, but understand Fury is a very complete fighter that's what half a lifetime of boxing will do for you if you can learn. Boxers once they reach this level could fight and win without a coach.

If Fury can pick up just one or even two things from Sugar Hill in one or two training camps that's a job well done.

I guess the thing to note is Hughie, Peter and Ben are defensive out fighting minded. Sugar Hill appreciates the art of effective aggression.

Hill's a great trainer and as a protege of the late great Manny Steward he has my full respect, but truth be told he would've learned a lot more from Fury than Fury learned from him during those six weeks they spent in camp with each other. The same applies to any trainer who is fortunate enough to have their services enlisted by a gypsy fighter. Look at how much Fury taught Ben Davison when they were working with each other, Davison went from being a complete nobody who nobody had ever heard of to being regarded as one of the premier trainers in the sport even though he was still only in his mid-twenties.

Why do you think Fury was able to clock the game and win every title and accolade there is to win in the sport of boxing by the age of 31? Because my people are taught how to fight before we learn how to walk and your average gypsy child has forgotten more about boxing by the time they hit puberty than many of the so called legends of the sport could ever know.

In fact, had he not got robbed in the first fight he would've clocked it at 30 and even more impressive, had the powers that be not framed an innocent gypsy for a crime he did not commit he would've clocked it at the tender age of just 25. Let that sink in.

All of the attributes required to make an ATG champions cannot be taught.

Can't teach chin, heart, balls or the mentality needed of a fighter.

Emmanuel Steward knew in 2011 Fury would go onto dominate. He didn't base that off his skill. He based it off the attributes that cannot be taught.

Can you imagine a multi time world champion like Fury in his corner saying "Why do I feel this way" LOL.

Sincere question. Where does Jonathan Banks sit in the whole ‘Kronk/Emmanuel Steward’ set up? I thought he was the protege that Steward earmarked to continue his work.
