Prior to the GGG vs Canelo fights that were huge successes, even more successful than Canelo vs Cotto, he also fought Jacobs on ppv. The ppv buys on the Lemieux fight was 150,000 and the ppv buys on Jacobs was 170,000. Andre Ward on his big super fight with Kovalev sold 160,000 ppv`s and 130,000 on the rematch. Funny, I don't see you talking smack about Ward and his lack of success on the ppv level even with the help of knockout artist and fearsome champ Kovalev. I don't see you saying Ward was begging Kovalev for a pay day, or begging GGG for a free payday, "what ever that is". I don't see you saying Ward was a massive ppv failure. That's because your a hater with an agenda. So what you say is" irrelevant " GGG got a contract with DAZN for $100. million on his name alone. I would say that is successful. So" hate on "hater.

No, the PPVs were massive failures for someone that you claim to be a "major" superstar at the time. The result is obvious even today. Where's the interest in him nowadays unless Alvarez' name is mentioned?. If he was such a massive PPV attraction, he would have headlined a lot more events and would have actually sold big. You can't be that deluded to honestly believe that Ward is "begging" someone who didn't headline jack worth mentioning for a payday. Alvarez vs Angulo made more than both of Golovkin's PPV extravaganzas combined.

GGG went to England to fight Brook when has Canelo traveled out of the States ???When did Floyd or Jones jr venture abroad ??? Even the Mexican fans disowned Canelo when cowardly handed back the WBC belt he stole Big mouth challenging GGG but then when called on to follow though he chickened out

Wouldn't be surprised. It's still a fight that many would love to tune in for. At this stage, I'd expect a fairly one-sided Canelo victory. Maybe a knockout from body punches.

I'm up for it. Hopefully early in the year, say Feb-March.

This isn't the first time a champion has been the beneficiary of a closely contested decision and it won't be the last.

But regardless, he is still the champion.

They wouldn't let him defend his 160 belt at 168 though, they're different weight classes.

There is plenty of interest in him now days. His name is mentioned on the internet all the time, interested in who he is fighting, whether with or without Canelo even during a once in a century Pandemic. He is one of the top PFP fighters in the world. He has a $100, million contract with DAZN for six fights. That's an average of almost $ 17 million per fight. so, is he successful? YES! Is somebody interested in him? YES! You need to wake up!

No there isn't that much interest in him and cleary too. The only time he's mentioned is when Alvarez is mentioned. So all he has left now is to beg for yet another free payday(which he's doing, by the way) and retire after that.

I would say 2021 will be the last chance for GGG Canelo. GGG will not go for that fight after that.

Saying Canelo will win this one... wouldn’t be that sure in that. He may have passed his prime and juice will not help him. The other thing GGG will fight with another plan. Looking at how Canelo chooses opponents and taking into consideration that break I would say he hasn’t left a lot in him as well and GGG will require 110% + that special meat...

He "won" the title at 155 pound c/w not 160 limit. Any title fight should be contested at the official weight limit in this case 160 pounds. The NSAC let him do just as he likes though like they did Mayweather he's their cash cow.
BTW Mayweather & Canelo have both had fights in Vegas that they really lost especially Canelo but "Vegas decisions" gave them the wins. You never saw either of them come out of a close fight a loser did you? Or even an ass whupping like GGG/Canelo 1 or Floyd/Maidana 1
When the NSAC issued that statement " Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong we will not be investigating" after the IV scandal how on earth can you believe a word they say??? He only broke THREE of the NSAC's own rules regarding Saline treatment for dehydration ROFL
Same as Canelo &popping dirty for clenbuterol they gave him a six months ban which quite coincidentally gave him the time to have his needed knee surgery. THEN they ammended their rules upping the amount of clenbuterol needed tofail a test ROFL C'mon man a blind man can see the corruption

Put up a poll asking who really won the 2 GGG/Canelo fights & you'll see whether GGG interests the fans. GGG is not begging Canelo what he did was challenge him to fight in MSG, the Mecca of boxing with no NSAC involvement where he at least might have a chance of a fair fight. Something he has NEVER had against Canelo. What was Oscar & Canelo's reply?????? NO Vegas only !!!!!!!
He legitimately kicked Canelo's ass TWICE & fans know it GGG doesnt need Canelo the man that handed back the WBC belt he was afraid to defend against GGG. Canelo wont fight GGG without the NSAC & Vegas judges to ensure he doesnt lose **** canelo & oscar

Tbh I see if different to you . I thought it was a great performance considering his age and that Sergei deryerchrnko is no mug . But the beauty of boxing is we all see things different. Don’t want to see a third fight though .
