In 1960? Liston demolishes Louis early. Louis even in his prime would have very serious problems with Liston in 1960. If a fighter like Galento could drop a prime Louis with the left hook. Imagine what a prime Liston would've done to him. Prime vs prime. Louis would be very vulnerable to prime Liston.

Which particular win of Sonny Liston best demonstrates this certainty ?

This is based on what exactly? Liston never beat anyone even close to Louis, let alone destroy.

This is based on the fact that Liston was stronger, punched harder, had a better jab and better chin.

The eye test and his assets over Louis demonstrates this.
It would be like his fights against Patterson, Liston would just overpower Louis.

I didn’t ask about eye tests. I specifically asked for one particular performance that shows for absolute certainty that Sonny always destroys Prime Louis.

That is almost impossible to provide in any boxer's case, but the best examples in this case are Sonny's fights with Williams and Patterson

This article has Joe Louis stopping Sonny Liston by KO in round 12 of 15.

Liston floors Louis in round 7 and has him ready to go, but Louis makes it out of the round. Then Louis takes control and breaks down Liston and stops him by 10 count KO in the 12th.

Only Michael Bentt could beat a prime Joe Louis.

There's no telling just how old Liston was.

Ya, he probably was, and he looked that age, but we just don't have a very specific range of age.

Speed and timing is the difference.

Liston would be facing a fighter with handspeed similar to Ali...but vastly different and greater in application.

Liston has a reputation as a aggressive boxer puncher but I see him as a standard boxer with a lot patience and a ton of power.

I say that because he is not going to come out and jump on Joe. Liston is going to look for his shots, attempt to find the range and test the waters. See the Eddie Machen fight.

I think the threat of Joes speed and power is too much for Liston to risk an all out assault so he will have to try and out think Joe but that lack of hand speed on Liston part makes him vulnerable to hard counters.

Long story short...Liston is great but Joe is simply a complete notch above him and Joe from the Schmeling II fight might just be too coiled and ready for Liston with his relaxed workman like approach to overcome.

Louis was born in May of 1914. It's easy to remember because my dad's grandmother was born in 1916
