Man they are REALLY afraid of Velez upsetting the cards, aren't they?

So now Berlanga just needs 7 more KO1s to pass Raymi? So he's 66% of the way there...

Just got to keep lining up that fine china. Honestly, though, fragile and crappy as they are, the overall caliber of his fourteen victims so far is probably >>> Tyrone Brunson's nineteen and Raymi's twenty, combined. :sisi1

    Round 1 Velez 10-9
    Round 2 Velez 10-9
    Round 3 Velez 10-9
    Round 4 Velez 10-9, close
    Round 5 Valdez 10-8
    Round 6 Valdez 10-9, close
    Round 7 Velez 10-9, close
    Round 8 Velez 10-9

Piece of **** Weeks docks Velez a point for a low blow, not one warning, yet let's Valdez hold constantly. Velez comes out to outwork and seemingly rock Valdez late.

Left hook from hell finally lands on the chin. Velez does well to stay on his feet.

I just hate the phony marketing man. It's so tired. Ethnicity and nationality are not the same thing. Your ethnicity might be Mexican , but you're not a Mexican it sounds like, hombre.

He lives in the US and has lived here since a very small child. He fought for Mexico in the olympics because it's easy, none of them have any interest in it .

Juan Manuel Marquez said it best in the lead up to the Juan Diaz fight - "your not a real Mexican", you can wrap yourself in the flag but you're not a Mexican if you weren't raised here. Soil doesn't make nationality.

Berchelt will beat Valdez up. Valdez will win wide on the cards here. He’s not beating Miguel.
