    Oh yeah.

He’d waited for him to slow down.

There’s a world of difference between fighting a faded version of Oscar and the freak of nature what was Thomas Hearns.

Stylistically, it’s the worst match that Floyd could have encountered.

He couldn’t have outboxed him, and he couldn’t have outfought him.

Floyd never "lost" because the NSAC & Vegas boxing officials made sure he didnt. That much is common knowledge. Maidana & Castillo kicked his cowardly ass, should have been DQ'd against both Ortiz & Judah & should have been jailed for life for the caper he pulled on May 1 &2 2015

Floyd was a coward Look at the way Antonio Margarito embarrassed & humiliated him by simply walking up to him & asking " Why wont you fight me"??? Floyd literally went ballistic he was hysterical blabbering like Daffy Duck & finally lost control of his bowels. He was LITERALLY TERRIFIED!!!!!!!! After Margo destroyed Cotto it was the fight fans wanted to see but that also made Margo a no go for Floyd. So instead he stunk out the place AGAIN!! lol against Baldomir
The IV Kid was Big skills but teeny weeny balls

They’re not comparable in size or style.

Oscar was 5’10 and Hearns was 6’1.

Oscar’s reach was 73” and Hearns was 78”

Hearns also had a better jab and a lot more power.

Oscar was 34 and had only fought 3 times in as many years.

Fighting Oscar isn’t evidence that he’d have fought Hearns.

    He’d never have fought Hearns.

Look at all of the BS Floyd pulled throughout his career.

There’s absolutely nothing in his character or in his resume that points to him having fought a guy like Hearns.

    It’s laughable.

Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Hagler. The only one he missed was Pryor but separated by 1 weight class. Probably the most impressive top 4 in modern boxing history.

If Sugar Ray Leonard had the Y2K nano tech advantage, he would have been undefeated

This is not a debate on who was the better P4P fighter.

It’s a debate on who was the best WW.

I think Floyd would have beaten Leonard and the Robinson was a better welter than Leonard anyway.

Floyd won't be looked at in 20 years like how we look back at SRL, Duran, Hearns etc.

He has himself to blame for the careful matchmaking.

Floyd wouldn’t have beaten Ray at WW.

Ray was just as fast, but bigger, stronger and much more powerful.

Floyd had better fundamentals, however Hearns would have destroyed Floyd.
