Joyce is effectively a 50 year old man in terms of speed. Dubois is going to take his head off.

That was a decent performance against a limited opponent but DDD will wipe him out if he keeps defending punches with his face.

I really don't get how he can do that flip celebration thing when he is simply the slowest thing in the world. You can see his punches coming a week in advance.

I literally just tuned in to the fight to watch Joyce put him down. Though I was watching a replay in slow mo.

only to realise a whole 60 seconds in it was real time

Now that you have posted this, Joyce is now firmly on the radar of Big Joan Fury, the hardest man in his fifties, a real fighting man and will be targeted in you tube videos next year should he lose to Dubois.

Joyce is unique, as many of you have said (rightly so) he gets hit to easy, footworks not great and his punches are slow, but even taken that all into account he is still very good ! He is very fit, has good punch variety, good punch selection and he is heavy handed (not as a one punch knockout way but everything he lands looks hurtful, even though he isnt loading up).

I think Big Joe Joyce should fight someone like Big Shane Fury instead or even Big Hughie Fury.

Well I thought Joyce looked good. Got hit with a couple of silly right hands in the opening round but moved his head well after that. His punches look awkward but his hand speed wasn't so bad tonight. He must've thrown a ten punch combination or more of solid shots there while barely breaking a sweat.

If he can move that head from the off, he can be a force. He can throw punches all night, he can bang to the body and head with hard punches and he has a good chin. He's a physical freak and I don't see quit in the man.

I think he'll do better against Dubois than people think. If Dubois can't blow him away and Joyce keeps coming with the relentless attack, how will Dubois react? Great fight for me and I see it 60/40 in Dubois favour.

He would have both for snacks before having Joan Fury for breakfast

Another thread covering a live card yet no sign of Tony Hayers - beginning to wonder if he has a TV never mind a subscription to either Sky Sports or BT Sports.
