Yeah its all been arranged over twitter

He replied to my 1340th direct message... and after a few family kidnappings and ransoms here and there Dillian agreed to let me train him going forward.

Whyte has just added Dave Coldwell to work alongside Xavier Miller in his corner on Saturday. Seems a strange one. As far as I'm aware he has never worked with Coldwell before and announcing this in fight week is weird. Can't see that going too smoothly on fight night, sounds like too many voices in the corner.

Wont surprise me if Whyte is near 19 stones after all that warm weather testing free training

That sounds a little desperate to be honest, surely this should have been sorted out the moment he split with Tibbs?

I think this would have looked bad if Whyte was having a 10 round keep busy fight but in a PPV event and this being a very important fight, lose this and that WBC title shot is gone.

Whytes weight will be interesting, we may get a read of how well training has actually gone without Tibbs.

Because surely if training went as well as they say, why on earth would you want Coldwell in your corner?

Because Whyte could get another fighter to hold a bucket, give you a drink, they are going to have to pay Coldwell, know what I mean?

Given the vigourous belt-tightening round these parts? I'd say no one my amphibious friend.

I will be keeping a close eye on the weigh in, if Whyte weighs in tubby like his last fight (271!) I'm going all in on Povetkin.

Povetkin is always hovering just under 230lbs. Looking at Whyte today, I think he’s sitting around 255lbs

100% to me it indicates a lack of confidence in Miller to guide Whyte through what could be a tough fight. I don't like Coldwell but tbf to him he has loads of big fight and world title fight experience. I have no knowledge of Miller tbh: what's the biggest fight he has ran a corner for?

I wouldn't be surprised if Hearn has asked for this since Coldwell is basically a Matchroom/Sky trainer these days.

    Agree completely,

It might have caused some friction in the camp also, imagine the rest of the team now, they have basically been told they are not good enough or Whyte doesn't trust them when it counts most.

It would upset me if I'd been training and working with Whyte for months and I was on the verge of cornering him on a PPV event in a big fight.. then got told by Whyte he is dragging somebody else in.

I'd take it personally, this fight is getting more interesting by the day now.

I asked my mate today who was out in camp with Dillian and is trained by Miller why bring in Coldwell. He said it was Xav who thought it best because he has big fight experience and can help out in that respect.
