Because of the styles, that version of Frazier may have been much better but it doesn’t change his style, I think he might last longer but would still get dominated

I agree completely. But Foreman still had crumby stamina, and if Frazier could survive the first 4 rounds, Frazier would win certainly. I could imagine Frazier surviving the worst beating of all time in the first 4 rounds, coming on in the fifth, and knocking Foreman out in the eighth. Frazier would look like he got in a car wreck after this fight, and would retire, or die.

Mathis best win was outboxing Chuvalo which is very easy!
Also he was fat and lazy one hit wonder!
Frazier and Lyle would be decision fight because neither had power to KO each one!
Lyle wpuld maybe floored Frazier more than once maybe few times but late Frazier would win by ugly UD!

Bonavena was taller in every picture with both!

Frazier and Lyle were two of the hardest heavyweight hitters of all time.
Using those photos of Frazier and Bonavena is very subjective. You would have to have photos of the two standing right next to each other (on a level platform), and even then that itself could still be subjective.

Seriously, you're using those photos as evidence of who was taller? You might as well post photos of them standing alone in the middle of a desert. It would prove just as much. Or as little. A weak argument made no stronger by the use of supporting photos or supporting exclamation marks.

Thank you. I said as much. Photos prove nothing. Especially these ones where their fighting, and one guy is farther back than the other in another photo. Even if you had the two standing side by side on a level platform, you would have make them take their shoes and socks off and shave them both bald to really see who was taller.

I have the very unpopular opinion that FOTC Frazier would have beat any heavyweight. Ever.

    Just that night.

I would only make Liston, Ali, and Foreman favorites but even then he would give them hell win or lose.

Oh sorry I forgot Rocky who defeats Liston, Foreman, Ali, Frazier... all at the same time as well as every man who ever lived.

tbh I don't think it's outlandish to see Frazier dropping Foreman if he was able to extend him into the late rounds. It's a tough ask however.

I see no reason to suppose the result would be any different.

Styles make fights is a cliche for a reason,, it's true. Joe's size and style simply can't beat George Foreman

Foreman would always be too strong, too big, too powerful and too deadly outside and inside for Frazier to ever have a chance. Frazier never had the defence to take Foreman's power out of the equation
