    Ottke beat Michael Moorer, Chris Byrd, Juan Carlos Gomez, Antonio Tarver, and Zsolt Erdei.

    Jurgen Brahmer beat Carl Froch, Felix Sturm, and Ricky Hatton.

    Chris Byrd beat William Joppy.

    Oh man, I'm sorry. I thought you were making a joke. So ESPN actually did report that Phillips fought Bowe and Tapia as amateurs. Wow. Again, my apologies.

    And I understand about mistakes. I'm the guy who posted about Carlos Z a r a t e and got auto-corrected to Carlos Karate (actually, I just typed it with a Z again, and auto-correct changed it to a K. I hate auto-correct sometimes).

    Good call. Should have looked it up — somehow I thought he beat Saoul Mamby for a world belt, but instead he lost to him for like an NABF or USBA.

    Don’t worry though: I forgot something once before, but it was so long ago I don’t even remember what it was.
