    Cool. An excellent comeback for Spence and if he is too far off from where he was this could be dangerous. Close to peak Spence should win with as close to ease as you can against Garcia

    Funny that Danny was in line to be mandatory for Crawford but after he beat a tomato can he was elevated to Spence's mandatory. Hmmmmmm. Funny how that works isn't it

    Question: Up to this point, Keith Thurman's credibility in the welterweight division is largely predicated on having the deepest resume (outside of Pac, of course). Should this fight happen and Spence win (regardless of how he does it) does that point still hold true? Or will a Garcia(x2)/Porter/Brook hitlist shoot Spence to the top?

    Danny got a lot of haters for no reason, but I've been supporting him since day 1.

    Danny from my part of the hood in North Philly, I know the people he hangs around with and I'll always root for a hometown fighter.


    That being said, the only chance he has of winning this fight is if Spence is completely shot from the car accident. Spence is the worst stylistic match up for Garcia, he has flat feet, too slow and eats too many punches. If Spence is on form, he'll handily outbox Danny something like 8-4.




    Still rooting for mah boi though. :biggrin:

    Spence has proved countless times that he can be timed and repeatedly. Danny has pretty damn good timing and he's accurate as hell. If he fights Spence like he fought Thurman for the last 6 rounds of their fight or like how he fought Granados, he walks him down, catches him and puts him down for the count. I've always thought Spence's chin is very suspect, after the Lartey incident, that did not change after the Porter match. If Danny catches him with some of the hooks Porter did, he'll be Fast Asleep Earl instead of just Sleepy Eyed

    So my official prediction is.... Danny Garcia walks him down, beats the **** out of him and stops in 9. I really liked Danny's chances before the crash, I'm thrilled about his chances now. We have no idea how much that crash took out of him, how much weight he's put on since, how much it will hurt him draining down to 147 again. It's clear Spence doesn't hit that hard, I rate Danny's chin as good if not better than Porter's, his timing is better, he's better on the back foot, basically the same size as Spence, and might hit harder than Porter and Mikey. This could end up being target practice for Danny.
