Wlad would never beat Fury. Wlad was great, but he was also a specialized fighter, with low ring IQ and no ability to adapt. Faced with a bigger, better mover who's skill is adapting. No chance. Fury probably would have knocked him out in a rematch.
Fury was in no fit mental shape to be going anywhere near a boxing ring at the time. Wlad would have cleaned him out in 2 rounds

He would absolutely have won the rematch. In the first fight it was Wlad that had butterflies in his head from all the marital BS that was going on. In the rematch it was Fury who had obviously lost focus and was mentally falling to bits. A fired-up Wlad against a flat version of Fury? Klitschko would have spanked him and Fury knew it, which is why he ducked the rematch.
I think it would've been a lot closer. Frankly I don't think Wlad took Fury seriously enough the first time round to his own detriment. With Fury showing his blobbing fat belly at press conference I think Wlad thought this guy was a joke and didn't prepare well enough. But in a rematch I think you would have seen a much more dedicated and determined Wlad going balls to the wall trying to win. I'm not sure he would have been able to beat Fury but I think he would have actually won some rounds and it would have been a much better match.
Fury should have and might have decided to just go after Wlad He commented on how weak physically Wlad was and Wlad was gassed late in that fight despite not doing much. I think Fury would have stopped him but Fury was mentally shot at that time Fury also had the option in the rematch to rinse and repeat, If Wlad RISKED himself which he didn't want to do in the first fight Fury could have kept boxing him and leading him into punches. Wlad was fine in the first fight. He just knew he couldn't land on Fury so didn't even try. Watch round 12, a round Wlad thought he did well in (he didn't). Fury actually chose to walk at Wlad in this round for the first time in the first. He didn't step backwards. He said he wanted to get the KO in that round & in the previous round Wlad was all over the place. Wlad was also making excuses and talking nonsense in their face to faces for the rematch. Fury was sat there depressed as anything and he was still mentally picking Wlad apart. Do not lie to yourself and do not lie to Fury. Fury sees right through it all. Never makes excuses/
I think Fury was an emotional mess, and if he were capable of beating Wlad, he would have trained, showed up and did so. And I am a huge fan who thinks that Fury is going to end up remembered as the better man. His heart just wasn't in it.

I have an extant thread about how UKAD cheated him, but there is just no doubt that he became depressed, started doing cocaine, and thought about killing himself. I am not saying that Wlad is the better man...I think Fury. But his heart was just not in it at the time, and he admitted as much. I am not going to argue it too much, because I am a Fury guy. I am just saying that it was a very dark time for him, and let's leave it at that.
This was back when Wilder was still in his prime and would've likely gotten the KO over both men, so I'm not sure it should be the focus of any particular important boxing discussion.
No. Wlad was probably one of furys top 10 easiest opponents he faced. He did not break a sweat in that fight, or hardly get a punch landed on him. He absolutely toyed with wlad, which nobody ever did before to him. Wlad had lost before, but he was never outclassed like that. It was a boxing clinic.
