    Jirov fought Holyfield? ;)

This would be a good fight, but I tend to think that Qawi's advantages in chin and defence win here. He'd make Jirov miss and then pay in spurts, and these bits of success in-between fiery, evenly matched exchanges would make the up the difference. Either by winning on points or accumulating in a late stoppage.

Would be a fun one to watch but I have Qawi winning this one hands down.

The problem with this is Jirov goes to the body alot and is a,natural crusier where Dwight is not.
Throw in the workrate and this is a bad match up for Qwai.

I don't know. If Qawi can take Holyfield life and death over 15 rounds I can't see him being bothered by Jirov. I'm a big Jirov fan as well. The guy was one of the more exciting fighters of the late 90's/early 2000's but he was a pretty hittable dude which is bad news against a guy like Qawi. I definitely think Jirov has his moments though. He certainly could fight but should have stayed at Cruiserweight.

The problem with the Holy fight is that Holy was pretty green going into it.

He really wasn't that green of a fighter. He had a 160-14 record as an amateur fighting in the 1980's which was one of the toughest era's for amauter boxing. He won the national golden gloves and should have won gold in the 84' Olympics. The guy was an absolute beast when he turned pro and had been fighting at the highest level. Then again, Jirov was a hell of an amatuer fighter as well. I will never forget his gold medal match with Tarver in the 96' Olympics. Jirov was no joke.

I see Dwight countering Jirov silly. Jirov was very busy and straight ahead. He would probably jump out to a lead but Dwight should be able to lay a cumululative effect on him for a late stoppage.
