Shame, was a decent fight. That card is looking weak now and you’d think there will be a struggle to get anyone useful in on this notice in these conditions. First thought in my head was Hunter but I’d forgotten that he’s beat these two already

 

Has anybody else seen confirmation that Kuzmin is out of the fight? I mean apart from the guy here who has contacts in eastern Europe. The post from Twitter isn't confirmation either, that only said they'd read it and was asking if it's true. He could very well have just read it here too. From the guy with contacts in eastern Europe.

 

Surely not Allen. The card is a terrible ppv as it is. Takam would be a good shout! Dont see Fury taking it at this stage

I agree with your view mate. Chisora has been training away but cant see that one tbh. Takam is best logical option i can think of, but does not mean it will be him.

Yeah I dont see Chisora taking it -- very high risk and not likely to be enough money on the table to tempt him.
Should be Takam OR Hunter. You would think Bakole would want to avenge that loss anyway

 

Hunter has just left Matchriom so that ones unlikely . though i would love to see that rematch.

 

That would be a good fight too. That is the kind of calibre opponent i am hoping for.

 

A number of people have been contacted to face Bakole. He may not even be on the main bill yet and may have a tick over or wait for a new date.

If Bakole is to fight, the ‘front runners’ are David Price or Hughie Fury, fees dependant.

 

Allen has said he’s not taking these short term fights anymore he is looking at long term, but you can take that with a pinch of salt he changes his mind more than the weather !!

 

Hearns words are ‘Bakole will be in a good fight’

The reason the 5th fight has been left vacant is because it depends on the opponent Bakole gets.

if Bakole fights an opponent with a profile such as Takam, Price or Browne then another lower fight such a Allen Babic will likely be on the bill against a British level guy such a Tom Little or Nick Webb.

if Bakole fights someone like Dinu or Dimitrenko then Hearns wants Allen on the card to help it sell. Allen is already going to be in the bubble sparring Povetkin. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s Allen vs Babic. But personally I would try and bring in Lenroy Thomas as it’s got a story and he’s done nothing since getting his arse handed to him by Joyce. Put the Commonwealth on the line.

My guess is it’s Bakole vs Romanov plus Allen in a fight of some kind
