I don't see the point. If it isn't top young guys why have it? Boxing has to be about the best fighting the best.
I remember seeing Tyson a coupe of years ago being interviewed, he was on pain meds for a long time it seemed, I thought he looked ill and was on the down slide. From that to where he is now, is something I wouldn’t have seen coming at all. If someone said Tyson was going to be back back in any decent shape reeling off blistering combinations I would have asked what they were on. It’s pretty inspirational to see. Tyson always seems to be saying it’s never to late, you think he is done and he comes back with something. It’s also nice that he does a lot of stuff for worthy causes as well, you can see he values that over money, which is hard to believe but that appears to be where his head is.
He does not want a penny but his wife does!! She said Tyson may donate his share but she wants to keep hers. She has a % in the takings.
I have a feeling that Tyson doesn’t like Jones and is going to prove a point and shatter Roy’s Glass Jaw in brutal fashion.
I think Covid bankrupted many of them as they had investments in restaurants, real estate, retail shopping etc. Now they're strapped for cash.
I like top boxers who are young. I don't want to see an old Jones vs. and old Tyson. Anyone who saw how they fought in their last fights know what happens in this fight really means nothing. We need boxing to be back to younger fighters who are championship quality.
