Not that my words were ungrammatical or unclear-but I somehow thought you were referring to Tyson not Jones, now you caught it, this was entirely my mistake!

Of course Jones used PEDs. He was not naturally big or large boned, & then suddenly his overall mass & the tell tale area with more androgen receptors, the trapezes,disproportionately took off.

However I do not think this was responsible for his speed, reflexes & ring IQ.
Besides steroids working on mass & strength instead, I see no indication he used when he was at his best.
He was not even muscular relative to his most successful divisions.
But it helped him fight outside of his natural weight class.

AJ is better than Bruno was and bigger too.

 

AJ is significantly taller & longer. Bruno was at least 3" shorter.
AJ at his top weight-by memory-was 7 lbs. more than Bruno vs. Tyson.
So even before he leaned down (since both were chiseled), Bruno had more muscle weight per square inch.

 

AJ unlike many seems every bit of the listed height of 6' 6".
In the past & looking it up now I never saw Bruno even listed-or anywhere claimed-to be at 6' 4". You can Google this.

He is either 6' 3", or since it is routine for people to round up heights (few folks list half inches, but logically just as many folks are this fraction than right on a certain inch), it is possible he is slightly shorter.

Actually I just read it wrong, & you did not catch my error right away.
I am glad to say that I appreciate you are not assuming facts not in evidence about Tyson.

There is no evidence that Jones was using PEDs when he was at his peak, nor that it would have given him those great reflexes, speed, radar & boxing intuition...
But he certainly used them to reach HW-how quickly he gained mass, & he has a naturally much more gracile build that Tyson!

 

I never said anything about Tyson, so your appreciation is irrelevant and artificial.

 

I am reiterating that it was my mistake & saying something nice publicly.
There is nothing "artificial" about that.
