I know Leather has been taking a break but damn its been a long one. Pigford must be been stuffed for Christmas he's disappeared off the face of the Earth. I know Williams has retired before then came out of it to be robbed against Parker, I just hope he gives it another go.
What about Ahmet Patterson, remember him as well? Him and Pigford were due to fight each other, Patterson pulled out injured, skelped by a brick while out running IIRC, and never to be seen again.
I remember seeing Patterson go through Ryan Aston like a knife through butter and he looked a million dollars. Really thought he would go onto make some noise but never heard of him again. Had heard the story that he'd been attacked whilst out training..... real shame as he had a boat load of talent.
Aye he looked like he was going places. Which makes his disappearing act all the more baffling. No idea if it was anything to do with that assault before the Pigford fight. Massive shame if it was.
The Patterson situation is a shame. He showed a lot of promise. He is a YouTuber now and was doing a bit of personal training I believe down at the peacock. Seems to be doing alright for himself anyway.
