Couldn't find another thread but a mate has just text me with the lovely news that Whyte V Povetkin is going to be 5p shy of £20. Just checked and it seems to be he case.

Eddie is really taking the **** with this one. Might have been tempted if it was a fiver through gritted teeth, bit no chance at that price.

When was the last Sky PPV cheaper than this?

It’s the norm now, don’t know why you’re shocked. When it was announced as PPV it was always going to be this price.

I am surprised that it is not £24.99 to cover double pudding.

The only method to stop these puddings earning multi millions for non title, non elite fights is to boycott all PPVs.

You must be bang on the sauce Glenn...it’s always this price unless it’s Fury or AJ at £25

Bet Fury Joshua will be £29.99, but rest of late have been £24.95. I wont be paying £19.99 for this ppv, as to me on top of sky subscription, its not worth it for that bill.

Just thought with all that's been going on in the world, the fact that it's a poor card headlined by a non title fight, behind closed doors, Eddie might have reflected this in the price. How wrong I seem to have been.

Not surprised, just disappointed I suppose.

The out of ring activities last night for example simply deflect attention away from the dross in the ring.

Sky commentators are very sly and slick with talking up mismatch fights at 1/10 odds on and worse as 50/50 fights. Then we have the spectacular ring entrance with laser show, fireworks, Drug Dealing Pony Tail announcer, air shots of large house. Once Eh day starts his sales pitch pre and post fight - the average sports TV viewer with no knowledge of boxthing is reeled in quicker than Tony Hayers on a Fury/Frank thread.

You do realise there is no live gate. The fighters aren't fighting for free.

Simple solution is if it's too expensive don't buy it.

Guys, they have to make their money somehow. No live gate, right?

    Beat me to it.

Can you confirm the boxers in shyte camp 1 and 2 fought for free?

If not why should we fork out for 2 multi-millionaire puddings in a non title, non elite standard boxing match?

No, I did not realise this. I thought you could just turn up at Eddie's house and pay on the door. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I'll not make the journey.
