The point is that PPV Mugths should not be expected to fork out to £19.99 to ensure 2 PED Puddings are paid millions in a non title, non elite fight on Eh Day's lawn.

If the two puddings won't fight for a Bakole v Hunter purse then call the fight off - the boxing world and fans can live without this fight no problem.

Never bought a PPV as I don't believe existing subscribers to Sly Sports and BT Sports should be further fleeced for boxing cards, many of which are known as pay per puddings.

Never missed watching any cards that I wanted to view - the non PPV payers watching these events outnumber the PPV Mugths by at least 5:1 now and increasing with every card.

Will come clean on viruses, got a couple from ladies in the past but never from watching a boxthing stream - just replace a condom with decent virus protection.

You’re right but unfortunately boxing doesn’t pull in the numbers even championship football does.
The reported numbers of 200k for a return show aren’t great at all. I know they trump BT’s poor numbers but comparing to other sports, especially football it shows that boxing is a niche market.

Football is the biggest sport in the country by miles. Indeed such is its attraction that you could make a case for it being as big if not bigger than every other sport combined. It also guarantees viewers for nearly all of the year. Most sports are ‘event sports.’ People watch the Six Nations and Wimbledon and The Masters. They’re not bothered about Gloucester v Harlequins or the Winston Salem Open or the Turkish Open. Football though has big games all the time.

You can moan about Sky paying for football but just think of the basic numbers. A bang average side like Aston Villa in pre-pandemic times would draw 35,000 to watch them play a bang average side like Bournemouth. A boxing card getting those numbers would be massive. In this country football will always be front and centre.

Tony Dosh PPV can wipe his arris for the rest of his life with £500 notes and still have a mountain of cash to spend - there is simply no end to the greed.

If the PPV mugths keep giving, the mutli millionaire Eh Day Earn, the multi millionaire fighters and TV Broadcasters will keep on taking.

As for football, Ozil on £350k per week and Bale £650k per week playing golf to the sound of The Birdie Song for doing nothing really gets one seething.

I have no problem with charging PPV to NON Sly Sports and BT Sports subscribers but object strongly to existing subscribers being poked time and again.

That's the beauty of it nobody is expected to pay anything. Its really quite simple to not buy it if one doesn't want to pay.

Far more watch than pay these days - sadly that is now happening for Sports Subscriptions as well with IPTV sales going through the roof.

For the price of a single Sly Boxing PPV, the annual IPTV subscription gives all Sports (Sly/BT/Premier Sports/Any Other), Films, Porn, TV Channels for football clubs, a pizza, 12 tins of beer and a signed Any Ruiz Big Mac container.

£20 for a fight in someones backyard. What a con.

Then you could say that it's between two users, a washed up fighter and an overrated young buck, and a pointless fight.

Well, I am considering buying it on the off-chance the battleship Povetkin can still demonstrate his sea-worthiness, or whether he needs to be decommissioned and become a museum piece.

I don’t understand these threads moaning about the price of PPV. Matchroom and Sky Sports are selling a product, either you buy the ticket and take the ride, or you don’t. This isn’t some kind of essential public broadcast. The promoter and their employees (the boxers) put on a show and charge you a fee for the privilege of watching them put on a performance.

I only pay for the biggest of fights. I have no issue using other methods to watch other PPV's. There is absolutely no way that I would pay £20 to watch this card. Unfortunately, Matchroom FC is the biggest fanbase in British Boxing.

Has there been any slow-motion B-roll footage of Eddie Hearn sat on one of the sixteen golden loos, wiping his arse with the £100 Anthony Joshua imprinted notes?

Seriously, though. There's so much scope for comedy that I'm surprised there hasn't been any indoor footage between rounds of Bazza sprawled on the Chesterfield Country Leather Corner Couch munching away on a Trifola d’Alba Madonna crusty Artisan Sandwich.

Is Dave Allen about for the Martin Bakole bout, or is he serving a silent ban for the Dorian Darch shenanigans?

People moan because they want things to be cheaper. That’s fine but it’s the same for literally everything. Nobody thinks they’d rather be more for what is essentially a non essential entertainment product.

They’re also incredibly bitter about how much money professional sportsmen get which I don’t understand. If tens of thousands want to see you live and millions think you’re worth paying to watch on television why shouldn’t you earn a fortune?

Ive no issues with what they earn. It’s a short career and I’d rather the boxers pocket the cash than the promoters.

That said, it’s a poor PPV in my opinion and I won’t be buying.
