Cant help but think hearns influenced it in some way. We wait all these years to see a real special event in joshua v fury and get put off for whyte v fury. Theres always a way round these things to keep everyone happy if thats how people actually want the outcome.

Theres no massive interest in whyte v fury. I m surprised with what we,ve seen in the past that dillan whytes had enough influence to gatecrash the biggest fight around tbh. With the money generated in a fury v joshua fight you,d think they could find a conclusion that would keep whyte happy by stepping aside unless a certain promoter didnt want that.

Reckon hearns banking on fury getting more shop worn...hoping whyte can maybe take something out of him as well. Who knows how long fury has left with the way he treated his body in comparison to joshua living like a top professional and a few years younger than fury.

Eddies done it a few times before...we,ll let you fight this opponent if you fight this one first etc. Tbf whyte probably does deserve a shot but i m surprised hes got it unless eddie actually wanted it that way. Which doesnt make a whole lot of sense....bearing in mind the figures fury v joshua will generate.

Tho, I reckon hearn loves money but he likes winning just as much. Would love nothing better than getting one over fury with joshua. Hes trying what he can to give joshua a better chance by getting whyte involved without trying to get him stepping aside.

Team Fury, team Joshua and the WBC probably think that Fury - Whyte is just a formality hence it's being made.

Fury - Joshua will happen next year so everyone calm down.

Usyk’s team have repeatedly said they will force the WBO mandatory next after stepping aside already to allow Pulev’s IBF. No way 34 year old Usyk waits until 2022 to get his title shot. AJ either defends against him after Pulev or he vacates the WBO and undisputed is gone.

Surprised they even care about it being for undisputed tbh. The fight basically sells itself. Its bigger than the belts. In an ideal world it would be perfect but if guys keep getting in the way....give them belts up.

Wouldnt surprise me if eddies influencing things behind the scenes to give his man any advantage they can get. Fury fights whyte....hoping whyte can get at him. Also gives fury a bit more time to age bearing in mind the way hes treated his body. Wilder and whyte fight going into a joshua fights hard going when joshuas fighting pulev next and they,ll try get in a relatively easy touch after that if they can.

You,d think hearn, arum, fury and joshua together have more influence than dillon whyte. Looks to me like hearns not fancying the fight just yet.

I think they all hope that Whyte continues to take dangerous fights and that he will lose one of them. Than they can get on with Fury, Joshua and Wilder. I will (of course) watch Fury vs Wilder III, but if I could choose I would prefer Fury vs Whyte. But they don't ask me, so... I hope that Whyte gets his shot before the age of 45 though. But perhaps he can do an exho with Fury or Wilder thirty years from now alà Tyson vs Jones, jr.

Frank must surely be praying that the Wilder fight gets pulled. That way he can hopefully deliver BT a massive Fury - Whyte PPV as his deal with Tyson makes him the lead promoter for UK fights.

Bob Arum said yesterday that Fury v Wilder 3 is now more likely for Feb 2021 as it cannot be held without a live gate. Realistically, Whyte would then fight Fury in the summer (around the time AJ fights Usyk) so there’s no chance of an undisputed fight until 2022.

wbc rankings at welter are being manipulated to keep a certain irrelevant fighter ranked

only he aint ranked there oops
    ambassadors privilege apparently
whyte should ask to be promoted from silver champ to

Fury Wilder III really is a joke when you think about how one sided the last fight was and the fights that will get pushed back just so it can happen. Wilder has to be one of the most farcically protected champions of all time. Allowed to dine out on nobodies for years, then absolutely humiliated, but still allowed an immediate attempt to regain the title again.

Pot and Kettle as Tony Dosh PPV exactly the same with a CV full of puddings.

24 fights, 23 puddings, 1 old robot yet somehow he has a big L on his record - his first fight at Wembley Stadium was against the formidable Dr Legg from Eastenders.

No reason why Tony Dosh PPV cannot fight 3 times per year minimum and clear any obstacles.

That still doesn't change owt. Fury fights Whyte, Joshua fights Usyk and then we can get the undisputed scrap. Everyone's a winner.

Just confirms that undisputed ain’t happening anytime soon and that the chances of AJ being derailed before it can occur are seriously increased. I don’t see him beating Usyk.

I don't see Tony Dosh PPV beating any of Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Hunter, Dubois, Bakole and Eh Day's 2 puddings Whyte and Chisora have a good chance of laying him out.

I do not see how Joshua can outbox Usyk he is a very tricky southpaw and also has a decent chin, Usyk is just a step ahead in speed and ability. If he try's to play the long game and wait for his opening he will cruise to a UD loss, they may decide as a team that a UD loss will be less damaging to his reputation than plan B which is to try and rush him and take him out early (Joshua will gas if he try's this).
