Who views it as a positive? A casual market maybe, all be it a huge one But its a crap situation for fighters Its either take whats on offer or move on Not really good Most people would prefer a competitive situation imo, as fans and fighters benefit More Also UFC is essentially the only power house MMA company worldwide We are talking about UK only If Frank goes, Eddie still has no monopoly, not Worldwide anyhow There will always be another promotion to counter offer his offers in Top Rank and PBC Thats a good thing
Well done Frank for attempting to get better fights made funded by the PPV Mugths - great idea. Why has it taken a career to think of this?
last video of with umar he had likable qualities if i didnt know his background id think he was the saviour but he feed off depriving fans from fights they wanted if he did a video stating old mind set , sets bad precedent i would respect him make excitement the money will follow everyone loves the unknown awnsers the what ifs and buts then fans can see the said result AND THEY WILL PAY FOR IT the mentality really as to go it stops the natural learning experience imp
This is complete nonsense. It's impossible to discuss this someone so wrong. Just think both Frampton and Fury both turned down Hearn to sign with Frank. Two of the biggest names in world boxing chose Frank over Eddie. How does s that grab ya?
And the rest signed with Hearn Im no Frank hater but dont kid yourself in to thinking he has a great stable
Adam Smith seems very open to this too. As he said this isnt going to happen till next year. Lets hope it does.
Fury’s with Arum. After that who does Frank have? His stable is rubbish compared to what it used to be. At one point not that long ago Frank had Calzaghe, Khan, Brook, Cleverly, Degale, Saunders, Bellew and Burns all at the same time. They all left him and two of them sued him. After the 08 Olympics Frank signed the pick of the UK team. That doesn’t happen any more. If Dubois makes it he will leave him. Frank’s desperate given his latest offering. My guess is his contract is with Queensbury and that’ll end up going the same way as all the other organisations Frank has wound up. Even if he sees the contract out Dubois will be 27 when it’s finished. Prime time to make some money rather than have Frank pinch it and end up in court again.
Blimey Mike. You're giving our age away ! At the time, Magri and Wallace would have been a terrific fight. I might stick it in Classic. Two flawed, brave, hard hitting little fellas. Frank only stuck it out there knowing that Mickey Duff wouldn't do it because Charlie had never seen fifty grand.
Sadly remember only too well the likes of: Needham, Mcguire, Clark, Rudkin, Armstrong ( toughest of the lot ) Sollas, Revie, Richardson, what about Les Picket , tough dude from Wales, I could go on and on......
Reeling the Bantam's off there Mike. Good lads all of them. Yeah, Evan Armstrong was a very tough, brave fella.
Warrington and BJS left Warren for Hearn and Frampton and Fury both signed with Top Rank. Warren will always hang on in there but your comment is slightly dishonest. if I remember rightly Hearn wouldn’t pay Frampton what he wanted? Sounds like he could well have signed him had he wanted to.
Technically, neither left Warren. Both of their contracts just run out. Clearly , he would have wanted to keep Warrington as he can actually sell tickets, however Frank couldn’t get the Stevenson fight (neither could Eddie) and he understandably didn’t want to to get lumbered with putting on another Galahad fight which the IBF were pushing for, but nobody on planet Earth would want to watch again. Saunders on the other hand, is an expensive pain in the arse, who is unreliable and draws no many- Frank was clearly relived to get rid and now Hearn is no doubt feeling the same way after taking a chance on him, he has the cheek to rule himself out of Canelo and instead wants to do wife beating clips. Fury signed with Warren first - he then signed with Top Rank & MTK afterwards down the line. Frampton signed with Warren and not Hearn.
