I would have put good money on Prime Danny Williams giving that pompous bodybuilder Joshua a good hiding. Kevin McBride too, lol.
I heard about what he said about HGH only. Nothing is damning in his development & history, I do not assume that means he did them. but i would like to see the quote where he said he would have taken anything, even illegal.
That was back then, he has stated boxers are bigger and stronger and use better science in training now.
His movements did look really sloppy in that bout Rooney would have screamed at him in between rounds like he often did in the fights where he was in Tyson`s corner, you need a good trainer to remind you of the fundamentals.
I wasn't accusing you of taking them out of context but rather that someone has because he's always been very respectful towards Mike and sees him as one of his boxing idols.
You can lose a fight 12-0 and be far more competitive than one in which you lost 8-4 if the depending on how you lose the rounds. He posed Tyson problems but as per when anyone dares to suggest that Iron Mike was only human someone rushes in to his defence. Most overrated fighter I can think of, not because he wasn't great but because he was Kronos God of War no matter how much his legion of fans want him to be.
I don't think you can say that with any certainty but I know lots of his fans say he does a demolition job on pretty much whoever is hypothetically put in front of him. Lewis is an ATG who has a dominant win in the twilight of his own career over a faded Tyson and people still claim that 'prime' Tyson would run him over. If Lennox was champ now I have no doubt people would say he'd win easily - hypothetically - too. Iron Hype.
If this is Joshua's prime, it's pretty safe to say that we have seen the best of Joshua already (meaning he has physically peaked) and based on his struggles (Ruiz defeat, being countered regularly by Povetkin) I would bet the house on a young Mike Tyson knocking Joshua out pretty easily.
