Povetkin/Whyte winner in a perfect world. In reality?Probably someone like Kabayel as others have suggested.

Are the boxers going to sit around rather than drop their pay demands and fight?

UFC doesnt find an issue with putting on the big fights during the covid hoax.

These boxers may find out that they cant just sit around forever without being realistic about their pay demands. Especially if a second lockdown happens.

The problem being that is another big-money fight which doesn't work without a crowd.

It is going to be Kabayel, or maybe Manuel Charr. I hear Yohan Pablo Hernandez is coming back at heavy, and good-'ol Marco Huck is hanging around.

These are the kinds of guys you are going to get this year. I ain't mad about it if it. Is what it is.

Warren`s arguement is that the only way another Wilder v Fury fight makes money is by a big gate at a British venue because of Fury`s popularity in the UK, it won`t be a big PPV fight in America because of how easily Fury dominated Wilder in their rematch.

I`d like to see Wilder fight the winner of Whyte v Povetkin more, either of those guys would have a more exciting fight v Wilder than against Fury and the winner would create more interest in the winner eventually meeting Fury.

This year is just lost. The bad thing is the streaming services are still in fledgling stages, so I'm sure it's creating instability for DAZN and others. A shame.

I personally don't care about this fight so am not disappointed. I'd rather see Fury and Joshua while the fight is ripe, and Wilder can try to get a win and hope that Joshua beats Fury.

    Thread title is false.

The football stadium in Las Vegas has specifically been reserved for Dec. 19 because you can fit more people than attended the fight in February and still keep everyone six feet apart.

That's why Bob Arum reserved it.

Now that he's spoken to Joshua's team, Warren is terrified Wilder is going to catch Fury. Warren is pissing in his fitted trousers. (LOL)

Well it makes perfect sense for Fury Vs Whyte (providing Whyte beats Povetkin) if the only way to pay Fury and Wilder is with a live gate, realistically how much is that gate worth? What sort of money are we looking at?

The gate really makes all the difference? I'm not having it, surely with hardly any sport on, PPV should really be doing better numbers than normal because nobody is going out and you can make a night of it at home.

Anyway Fury Vs Whyte.. It will be in the U.K. It would do extremely well on PPV in the U.K.

Advertising and Sponsors can generate money good for all involved. Sky/DAZN will get involved and it would be an easy fight to make.

No excuses for Fury not to fight Whyte, it's a payday, its apparently an "easy" fight for Fury, keeps him busy and focused and sharp and keeps his name out there, Fury can steal more of AJs casual fans.

Let's pin Wilder down, we all need to know if he wants to fight this year and if he doesn't then make it now.. Fury Vs Whyte.

UFC is a different financial model than boxing. Those guys are basically just Dana White's employees. UFC's financial model is closer to WWE than it is to boxing.

    Media sensationalism

    ignore it

All sport will start again ASAP

All entertainment venues especially Las Vegas want a winter reopening.

October is when they'll know the state of play. everything else is just tosh.

    I understand that argument.

But if they dont fight until the crowds come back it may never happen. They may both have to take a fight for peanuts in June of 2021 as a warm up/keep busy anyway in front of no fans. You see what I mean?

Why is the HW division being put on hold over a political virus? Why dont they keep it moving on, with fights and results?

Where is the professional pride in the promoters and the fighters. **** me this really is a farce.

UFC is a big, big company. They said **** it and made it work. Otherwise they would have lost a LOT of money. I think they haven´t had any layoffs. Which is amazing considering they employ like 1.3k people or something in those lines.

Top Rank followed suit, but they just put on pointless cards. And the headliners that were good matchups, were weak in name value and with weak undercards. So the ratings have been abysmal.
