Warren is throwing this fight out there so that Fury won't have to face Whyte. Don't be fooled by their narrative. Fury is not going to be allowed to duck Whyte like Wilder sis for years
This suggestion is very cheeky and cheap of FW in my opinion. Hearn has brought Whyte along, PAID for opponents, PAID opponents very well, All for Whyte to climb the rankings and progress. This is attempted queue jumping at its finest, Dubois hasn't fought anybody worth fighting yet, he has NOTHING of value for Whyte, FW isn't offering Whyte a huge payday, he is suggesting it's a joint venture. So let's say Dubois gets the fight, he is facing the WBC number 1 Challenger and potentially jumping a whole list of fighters and expensive opponents. So NO, NO, NO, NO, FW can do the hard work, PAY the money and get Dubois some good oppoents, climb the rankings, PAY opponents the money they want like Hearn had to do with Parker and others. This is just VERY CHEEKY AND VERY CHEAP in my opinion.
I do not subscribe to the "not ready" argument or needs more learning fights argument either in boxing. Professional boxing is a young mans game. You need to be fighting at your athletic prime at the highest level possible. Daniel Dubois is good enough because he is good enough, not because one day he will be old enough. I would back Dubois to knock Whyte out if they fought tomorrow, in 1 year or in 3 years time. There are levels in boxing and Daniel is a level above Whyte. The fight doesnt happen because it suits neither side to actually make it at this point.
Dubois was not even willing to fight Pfeifer (had to get an even weaker opponent) so the only thing Dubois will do with Whyte is mention his name but he wont fight him for at least 5 years.
Dubois been fighting tomato can bums, he ain't anywhere near Whyte's level. Whyte been fighting game, hungry, seasoned, dangerous, talented, top level opponents WHEN HE DIDN;'T NEED TO!!! Whyte has challenged himself more than any of these boxers out here, that's what makes him strong. Sharpened tool.
Dubois is using the Wilder strategy with Whyte. Talk as much as you can but never have any intention of fighting the person who you are "clout chasing"
Cannot understand why Dillian is so disliked on here. Had some great wins and just a matter of time before he becomes the new World Champion.
