LOL, if either of the guys in that video came to my gym they'd have to improve before they'd be allowed to spar. I don't think our insurance provider would think much of us allowing people that unskilled into the ring. Of course maybe they got better after I turned off the video, when the guy wearing the old time swim suit missed the guy in the thong with a left hand that looked like something a two year old would throw, and then fell into the rope I'd seen all of the unskilled fighting I could watch. You being impressed by that tells me all I need to know.
Bonavena failed to beat Floyd Patterson, but he beats Corbett? Come on man, you aren't on that stuff again, are you?
He'd kill all your cute sparing guys. Then he'd kill you for talking this ****. You're delusional if you think that your boys would beat Fitzsimmons in sparring.
What did I say wrong? Bonavena didn't come forward all the time like Sharkey, he was an awkward slugger with odd upper body movement. Sharkey is more similar to Chuvalo, although he was much faster.
LOL again, one thing is for sure, if the guy landed a punch on me or one of my fighters like the one he threw against his opponent in the thong, there'd be no doubt that whoever he landed on closed his eyes...how else could you get hit by roundhouse, telegraphed punches? As I was taught, "if you get hit by a punch that comes from outside of your opponent's body you deserve to be hit." Anybody who keeps their eyes open shouldn't get hit by wide punches. Every time I see an old fighter on video I am less impressed. The two on the video might be "peak" unimpressive.
Then you haven't seen the knockout punch, which was well set up and not telegraphed at all. This kind of body shot would take life away from your cute boys.
