    Yup. **** him.
    To so badly miss weight and then the whole cocaine thing. And he clearly was ill prepared for the first Gavril bout.
    He was supposed to be the next big thing after he demolished Medina. Even got handed an easy title shot. But in 3 years he only managed to mop the floor with Dirrell and Love, which we should appreciate. But what a waste of time Benavidez has been.

    And we were both wary of the threat Angulo posed last time out and like you I am again this time too. Not because I rate his skills that highly, but rather because he's carved out of granite and he has very heavy hands indeed. That right hand he hurt Zurdo with in round 3 sounded like a gunshot and it would've flattened most 168 pounders. I think Benavidez should win but if he gets clipped with a shot like that he'll be in trouble.

    Have never been excited about this guy. He's huge for the weight but has never really impressed. I mean... He's fundimentally sound and all but take that size away and I don't think he'd be anywhere near as successful. Have to say though. Did thoroughly enjoy that beatdown of Dirrell. :lol:


    The true champion and essence of SMW though? That be John Ryder. :deal:

    Still a total disgrace that he got robbed after beating up and schooling that other weight bully Callum Smith. It was so bad that even Hearn couldn't totally defend it. Make it right and give the true champ his shot Eddie.
