I'd much rather see Grouper vs. Frampton or Halibut vs. Frampton.:roto2gay:

Frampton is a fighter without a weight class at this stage. Doesn’t have the hand speed and reflexes to fight at 126 anymore and probably would have a hard time making weight. But he doesn’t have the power and size to fight at 130 and certainly not 135.

Phenomenal from McCann, genuine star in the making, there is a few Irish traveller lads coming up at the moment, best of them Dennis McCann, Paddy Donovan, and Felix Cash all looked very good this weekend.

    Agreed

Given frampton's frame he had a short window to shine ( and he did certainly shine) but he simply does not have the size and reach moving up especially as he defo past his peak with so much inactivity over recent years

Frampton nowhere near as sharp and explosive as he used to be a decade ago. Good fighter, and top man, but I can't see him competing again at the elite level.

Being so short with such a short reach he's always relied on his sharpness and explosive accuracy, so although still only 32/33? his athleticism just isn't what it used to be. Shame as he was one of my favorites.

I looked up on Boxrec. Traynor was ranked 360. I don't care if Boxrec is wrong by 100 positions, it still indicates one of two things:

    1. Frampton is shot
    2. Frampton did no training whatsoever for this fight.

By Frampton coming in on weight, I assume he did do some training so the only other conclusion is that Frampton is totally and utterly shot. I don't like it as I like Frampton as a fighter but if he does fight Herring, he is going to get some serious damage.
