Could Bugner Have Gone The Distance With Marciano ??

    Not everyone's cup of tea, is Aussie Joe, but good enough to go the full length of the fight with Ali x 2 and Frazier.
    So let's switch Joe with Don Cockell.. Is Bugner still around at the end of the 15 th??

    Rock would have landed more shots than Ali did because he was a more aggressive fighter and Ali was wary of counters, Ali jabbed well to Bugners body, but he had to do that as he was having trouble hitting Bugner`s head, Rocky wouldn`t have that problem because he`d just wade in like Frazier did, but yes Bugner could have gone the distance despite being the inferior fighter.

    I think so to. If he can get through full fight s against Ali and Frazier then he can here. Not an easy fight to go the distance but we know Bugner had the ability to get thru rounds.

    Well, not sure I'd have full confidence in Joe getting a win!

    It is a believable scenario, but I suspect that Marciano would have stopped him.

    Quite feasible that Joe lasts the distance. Bugner was strong and durable enough to do so.

    I think Bugner going the distance is the likeliest scenario.
    The Bugner that fought Frazier could make it interesting, but The Rock’s insane consistent output would see him through to a UD.

    I absolutely think this would go 15. Durability was Bugner's forte, although punch output was not. I see this closer resembling Bugner-Lyle than Bugner-Frazier, with Joe absorbing one bad body-battering like Ron inflicted on him. One-sided decision for Rocky, with Joe still standing.

    I think Marciano would of stopped bugner . fraizer would let off the gas at moments and would take specific points . marciano would just let it fly
