McGregor had a laughable purse of $2m against Khabib in the "biggest MMA fight in history"... I don't think he'd mind making $5m+ to fight Khan...but will he want to get KO'd by Khan for that? HELL NO. Ego way too big. Same way Khan wasn't willing to risk fighting Brook. He will make money prostituting himself to market products, then when his clout goes he'll make a return to MMA and knockout a stiff.
You can't possibly believe he made $2M for that fight. He likely made 10-20x that when all was said and done. He wouldn't mind taking another L in boxing again, but it wouldn't be against Kahn. Conor would be the draw here, so Amir brings nothing to the table. Someone like Pacquiao would bring a very large fanbase himself, along with McGregor's, and all the casuals of both sports. Amir Kahn simply doesn't move the needle and simply not worth the probable (but not definite, AK is glass jawed) loss.
