    Oscar De La Hoya coming out of retirement at 47. He says that he will fight any top guy. He might have to wait until after the pandemic after several fights are on hold.

    He's an attention ***** and an all around terrible human being. That being he said was a great fighter.

    This is why I have so much respect for the fighters who quit and never came back. Fighting is the ultimate addiction for these guys so to quit the sport and never return is what I'd imagine going cold turkey is for an addict. So many can't help but return to it and Oscar was (and is still by the sounds of it) no exception. For his physical sake, I hope he doesn't.

    If he does come back, and I'm not sure he will tbh, he'll end as most others do.. Getting him self knocked all over the ring.

    It will all depend on his reflexes. If they are not there hes toast.

    More likely to look like Leonard v. Camacho.

    Id like to see him fight a soup can. A couple of years ago he looked in great condition topless.. He was planning a return then too but it never happened, just like this time won't happen either.

    He wants to fight Golovkin? ... Terrible idea.. It won't happen anyway. Golovkin wouldn't agree to it and Dazn wouldn't allow it.

    This is bad for boxing no matter what.

    To an uninterested viewer, his fights mean a few things.

    - An expectation that he will get beat up again and possibly really hurt.

    - If he does beat a ranked fighter..it will show how bad boxing is.

    - He is throwing away a solid legacy of walking away from the game and becoming a successful promoter.

    The boxing fever egged on by Tyson coming back is having a negative ripple effect.

    I don't know what this is about. I have seen him talking lately and he doesn't look too thin.. He looks like he is 168 or so.. maybe more.
