At the conclusion of the thread, I will be arching the data, and taking fighters on the top 5 list ( As long a they were not champions ) and placing them into a 32 or 64 single elimination tournament. Every lineal / Ring magazine champion will have at least one opponent beaten in the mix.

I have not decided on whether to make 2 or 4 brackets.

    3. Adamek (Highly ranked contender)
    4. Kirk Johnson (Dominant win over a ranked contender)
    5. Chisorah (win over a dangerous contender, with one arm out of action)

They way I plan on bracketing things the contenders from Sullivan ( bracket 1 ) to Corbett ( Bracket 2 ) will be in opposite brackets, as will the contenders from Fitzsimmons ( bracket 3 ) to Jeffries.( Bracket 4 ) This will balance each bracket with old timers and modern fighters. If one bracket gets over loaded, I might reverse order for the next batch of four. ( Johnson, Willard, Dempsey and Tunney ). We'll see. It will be very close.

    Vitali Klitschkos 5 best wins

1 Sanders - Coming off an impressive win over Wlad
2 Peter - Highly rated and on a strong run. Vitalis first fight in 4 years
3 Kirk Johnson - Good fighter, probably underachieved a bit.
4 Adamek - 175 belt holder, cruiserweight champ, and top 5 heavyweight. Good win
5 Gomez - Long time cruiserweight champ and a good heavyweight

You can put Arreola, Chisora, or possibly Donald in without any problem. It looks like Vitali has a nice long list of good wins but seems to lack a strong win for his top two spots

Up next is Wladimir Klitschko who was on top for 4,382 days ( more than Joe Louis ) and was 2nd only to Joe Louis in total with 25 title fight wins. Sorting through his top 5 won't be easy. The voting ends Monday night.
