Agreed, but Fury wants to fight this year, it won't be AJ and looks like it won't be Wilder, so who then?

Whyte is mandatory and has to be dealt with by February 2021, well, a fight has to be agreed at least for a later date by then and Whyte will be next.

Fury can't go and have a nice little easy defence, not fight Wilder, push Whyte back even further, then try and also make two fights with AJ and Whyte gets pushed back again for maybe another 12-18 months.

If not Wilder and not AJ then it has to be Whyte, no excuses or Fury should drop the belt, let Whyte fight for it and if Whyte wins then AJ can fight the Whyte for all the belts. All British undisputed fight for ridiculous money.

Then Fury can have as many "keep busy" fights as he wants until AJ or Whyte decide to give him a shot at the undisputed for less money than he would have got originally.

Or Fury can me mandatory for a belt and get a mandatory split.

Fury has found himself in an tricky position but this could all be upside down again if Whyte loses tomorrow night.

Nope, the opposite, Whyte is supposed to be a fly in the ointment, that's why he/Hearn has stuck with the WBC and insisted on his shot and forced it.

AJ has Pulev and Usyk mandatory fights to deal with, so AJ has to deal with those, he don't want to lose belts.

In the meantime, if Fury refuses to fight Whyte and vacates, Whyte will get a shot at the vacant title, Wilder is nowhere to be seen, so who knows who will fight Whyte, the WBC make it up as they go along.

Anyway, if Whyte gets his hands on the WBC title, Whyte might make a soft defence and then it's AJ for all the belts late 2021, the all British undisputed, Matchroom in house fight.

History made, money made, huge money.

Then Fury could force himself in to a mandatory position very quickly but it would be a mandatory split.

Hearn is turning the screw, it could all go boobs up if Whyte loses tomorrow but if he wins, Matchroom have it wrapped up.

OR Fury fights Whyte, Fury would be a huge favourite, but it could go to purse bids, I expect Hearn and DAZN to win those purse bids, they would have a swing at Fury and you just never know, but Fury doesn't seem to want to fight Whyte.

H is refusing but realistically he may have no choice.

So, if you refuse to fight a mandatory and vacate your belt.. it's not a duck?

Lets remember, Fury won't be fighting Wilder or AJ, it will be a keep busy fight.

So explain to me, if it's not AJ or Wilder, what excuse has Fury got not to fight Whyte (if it's that easy) and go and fight some low ranked soft touch?

It's been ordered by the WBC, Fury either fights Wilder which is a rematch and that fine or he Whyte or he vacates, if he vacates for a "keep busy" fight then it has to be called a duck.

Hearn has Fury, Warren and Arum by the balls because he has built up more than one heavyweight PPV fighter and has claim to all the sanctioning bodies belts by having the champ of 3 and the mandatory for the fourth!

You can’t just say Whyte poses no threat to Fury lol boxing doesn’t work like that. I’d have Fury as a comfortable favourite but it’s certainly not a cake walk for him. I agree that Fury should fight Whyte if Wilder doesn’t happen. There really isn’t any excuse.

I think Fury would happily fight Whyte. His promotion may not like it though. The last thing they’d want is for him to slip up and all the belts be with Matchroom for the undisputed fight. That’s my point.

People get a bit titilated by the idea of the fighters being ‘scared’ - the reality is it’s the promotion companies being cautious.

    Good post. You’re right.

Again though, I don’t think any of the fighters have an issue with fighting eachother - it’s the promotion companies that do for the reasons you mention.

I understand your a white fan but Jesus that was cringe worthy. Fury is legally obligated to fight wilder next, the whyte fight will happen before the Aj fight 100%, i don’t even think we’ll ever see fury v aj I think aj will lose again and ruin it. For what it’s worth I think fury would beat whyte quite handily

Lol so a man who has travelled abroad to defeat 2 world champions is supposedly ducking some glorified matchroom pudding that barely scraped past 41 year old punching bag Mariusz Wach hahahahaha. These paid matchroom people are funny.

Fury: Schools prime chisora, twice. Absolute clinics.

Whyteleafe: goes life and death with shot old delboy chisora twice, ten years later.

Also Fury: Is scared of Whyteleafe.
