    Wladimir Klitschko

    1. Povetkin (let's see if he wins tonight)
    2. Byrd
    3. Chagaev
    4. Peter
    5. Haye

Amazing depth, of in prime peak opponents. Difficult decision to leave off guys like Pulev, Chambers, McCline, Ibrigamov, Thompson and others. While no absolute great opponent Wlad's depth is really impressive. Some of the wins listed were ugly wins (Povetkin) or didn't live up to the hype in a dull bout (Haye) but there are no past prime name guys on this list.

    1. Povetkin - should have lost by DQ
    2. Byrd
    3. Chagaev
    4. Pulev
    5. Ibrgamov

Not a very impressive top 5 for a supposed ATG tbf...

Byrd , Chaggy and Iggy were all undersized. . Ibragamov was unproven , never beat anybody apart from an overweight Briggs on the cusp of retirement.

Pulev got cheated with a spongy canvas that limited his in and out movement... Povetkin was fouled and cheated every minute of every round.

To execute a rehearsed and pre-planed foul fest against Povetkin says a lot about Wlads ceiling as a boxer. Povetkin is his best win and look how he had to perform to get that win... It says his skill-set was too limited to out-box Povetkin cleanly... An ATG should actually look like an ATG at some point..

He was overrated. Like a Formula 1 driver , his team helped him stay on top.

    Wladimir Klitschko:

    1. Byrd, but if Povetkin upsets Whyte tonight I might change my mind. Byrd was great boxer, two-time world champion with an excellent resume (wins over Vitali, in-shape Tua, old Holyfield, McCline, Williamson and others). The problem here is that Byrd was very small and light-hitting heavyweight, he wasn't dangerous for Wlad. That's why a lot of people underrate Wladimir's two wins over Chris

    2. Povetkin. Very good fighter, not that much bigger than Byrd, but much harder puncher with excellent resume as well. The problem is how Wlad beat him - by making it a clinch-fest, super ugly fight

    3. Haye - I think prime Haye was the most talented fighter Wlad fought from Sanders till Fury. Extremely fast, with fantastic reflexes and power. That said, Hye's resume wasn't that impressive in the HW divisiom

    4. Ibragimov - most underratd win in Wlad's resume IMO. Ibragimov was very, very quick and could punch. His resume wasn't great though

    5. Chagaev had better resume comparing to Iggy, but he wasn't as quick, so I think he was less dangerous opponent for Wlad.

The guys that also could have made the list: Peter (limited but dangerous puncher), Pulev, Thompson. Add here McCline, Chambers, Brock, old Mercer, Shulz and others and you'll see that Wlad' resume was really deep. However, while Wlad had tons of very good wins, he didn't have one really great, outstanding win. It hurts his standings in many people's all-time lists, I think.

Wlad's top 5. Wlad had such a long an distinguished career, he's one of those champions that can go 10 deep.

    1. Povektin A very good contender, who even if his later yards gave AJ a rough time, and recently sparked a top 10 guy. Also has a win over Byrd.

    2. Byrd - The 2nd fight was one of Woads best performances, the velocity of some of those punches turned Byrd into road kill.

    3. Chagaev. Solid alaphebt and amateur champion was stopped in his prime.

4 Ibragimov. Iggy had a lot going for him, he retried too soon.

    5. Peter. Peter was an undefeated puncher.

Missing the cut. Brewster ( avenged KO loss with a stoppage ), Pulev ( was #1 rated ), Haye ( he ran for good reason ) , Rhaman ( Former lineal champion KO'd easily ) Mecer ( he was blitzed ) and Thompson ( Tall southpaw )

    Hasim Rahman

    1. Lewis
    2. Sanders
    3. barret
    4 Meehan
    5. Obed Sullivan

Not bad - had Rahman gotten the win on Tua - he was cheap shotted after bell and the draw with Toney as a win he would have a nice top 5. As it is a little weak. But couple of big wins

    Wladimir Klitschko

    1----Alexander Povetkin
    2----Chris Byrd
    3----Ruslan Chagaev
    4----David Haye
    5----Lamon Brewster

Lots of other posters know more than me about this career, but I give my opinion. I think I am the only one to list Brewster, but I feel he has to be put on as it was an important revenge victory.
