If you look at the second KD in the 4th, Povetkin was trying the same combo from the other side, right uppercut and got caught...
He's been working on this combo for the fight....worked out better from the other side.

This could have easily been Whytes victory ...so close, yet so far away.

Can't believe people actually thought Whyte could beat Wilder.

With how bad Whyte's defense is, I see Wilder scoring a highlight reel KO.

Wilder puts Whyte to sleep. Oscar Rivas would’ve too, if Whyte hadn’t been roided to his eyeballs.

We know why he ducked Ortiz now.

O dear, your talking nonseses. How exactly people not wanting a complete utter disgrace rematch for a mandatory spot, are hating on Sasha.
You still didn`t answer my points, you know why, because you can`t, cause you know i`m right.

Again Povetkin needs to have his title shot again. He will have 1 tune up fight and fight for a title.
Eddie and Dilian can go and .....

Yup. Whyte gave his distance away. His jab was too slow, same with his right hand. I bet he never even practised the quick one-two or the parry in training camp. Such a shame really because he has ALL the tools there.

Thats what I have always liked about Povetkin. In victory or defeat he has always been gracious. Something a lot of the current boxers could learn from.

Yes before fighting for a title he should eb allowed a tune up fight, that's what I'm saying.

And if that tune up is a huge PPV knocking out his previous victim, then what's the issue.

I'm sure Whyte is still a top ten contender so I don't see why Povetkin should take any hate by having the rematch.

Yet, and you won't believe this, some on here are already baying on the rematch and Sasha for taking it.

    It's mental.

Dillian needs to go back and reflect....and work on his technique. He started too slow against an old man who was wiley enough to weather it and put his backup plan into action.

Uh no, Wilder does not have a good jab, or half decent, for a man his height his jab is pathetic

Respect to Whyte for chasing an immediate rematch.

Respect to Povetkin for giving the immediate rematch and proving its no fluke.

Respect to Hearn for making it happen.

A glorious evening for boxing and one that no one can rightly complain about.

The idiot seriously deluded himself into thinking that he was a champion by any means. Hate to break this to you Dillian but you’re just a contender. When you lose and lose this badly, you go back to the drawing board.
