The Dillian Whyte appreciation thread.. CONGRATULATIONS

The first time he got popped for some over the counter **** he shouldn't have taken.(if I am not mistaken) That time he got a two year suspension for a minor violation (over the counter supplements often contain small amounts of what would be considered PED's in athletic contests).
Whyte wasn't even actually misusing PED's. UKAD basically told him: "You, sir, are an idiot."
Imagine what his suspension will be this time, regardless of how or what for he got busted.

 

I don't think Fury would allow Whyte to get set to throw his bodyshots. He'll be jabbing and pivoting away, and Whyte needs to get close and set his feet to throw his meatiest work. Fury is a weird guy though and might decide to box atypically, just to test himself out. If he gets put in trouble though I can see him going back to work and outjabbing Whyte. He likes to put himself in the fire, but he isn't an idiot, and won't fight like one if he looks like he's losing.

 

We'll see what the B sample throws up. There are all sorts of grey areas here, and it's not necessarily the case that he'll get punished for this.

The WBC will probably try to spin this though, regardless of what the truth might be.

Quite the accomplishment. But then, that's what happens when the BBBofC, the weak-willed UKAD and Matchroom all conspire together to sweep it under the carpet and not inform Rivas and his team simply because there is money at to be made. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

Povetkin was a 200/1 betting shot at the end of that 4th round. Damn!!!!

 

Congratulations in defeat to a good fighter who will be back. I picked Povetkin, but Whyte has a lot of good fights, and hopefully, a title shot ahead of him.
