He dominated the fight, he was beating Povetkin up every second of the fight, he fought behind his jab really well, didnt lose his balance like he used to, stayed calm and composed and didnt try and be reckless

He got hit by the best shot Povetkin has ever thrown, rematch is warranted.

Rematch denied. Some close sources from the bomb squad have told me Mr Haymon and the Wbc President have made further plans to deny Whyte his hard earned title shot! lol

No he wasn't first 3 rounds are close. Arguably 2-1 or 3-0 Povetkin. Round 4 was a bad round to be sure for Povetkin but he kept his composure and rallied in the 5th with a vengeance.

What in the actual ****. I missed this fight and now I know the result. Damn these fight times. I should have known considering it's two non-Americans.

I thought Ortiz looked very impressive vs Wilder until he got laid out.

Povetkin won the first three rounds, lost the 4th badly, then KO'd him in the 5th. No he wasn't impressive.

We must have watched a different fight. I thought Povetkin won at least 2 of the first 3 rounds.
Maybe you were watching it through the same biased eyes as the commentary team. They were literally saying the fight was pretty much over & that Whyte was doing an amazing job... then BAM..No count even needed.
Im guessing your English? you guys are very one eyed.

It was close the first 3 rds. I would not say Whyte looked overly impressive, save for the 4th of course.

Good or not, he still got clocked and knocked out. Past it and old Povetkin is the better fighter.

He got knocked out COLD by a 41 year old. Povetkin is no joke and Sky and Whyte treated this like a tick over fight and he got a huge reality check.

Pov says he'd been training for that shot in the post fight interview, certainly executed it well shall we say.
