Both in their primes. Who wins?

Question is does Patterson get to use Roids too? Always loved Povetkins game though...Floyd has some interesting wins like against Chuvalo and Bonavena. I wonder how much floyd would weigh today if fought at HW. My initial gut was to say Povetkin but with wins against Bonavena (who I assume hit just as good) and Chuvalo and Ingo he could prob hang and if it manages to go to decision I’d pick Floyd. But that’s a big if. One Povetkin counted and it’s good night

Good Post but if Floyd was at the weight like these fellows are today, he would be a candidate for Heart Disease and Diabetes.

Povetkin flattens Floyd, Floyd may be greater, but Povetkin has too much power.

Povetkin KOs him in 1 round. It would look just like Liston-Patterson.

1st round KO? I don't know about that, Tim.

Floyd is a light heavyweight with a glass chin. The only way he makes it out of the first round is if Povetkin fails to land a significant punch.

Not sure it's over and done with in one round? Povetkin isn't in the same league with power as say.. Liston, is he?
I'll go povetkin stopping Floyd but perhaps struggling to do so, and Patterson s speed taking him back surprise.
    Povetkin kos Patterson in 6.

Floyd has the edge in speed and movement I think, but Povetkin in his prime isn't slow and has the edge in power combined with a good chin.

It could go the distance, but I'll take Alexander to catch up more with Patterson after a few rounds and stop him, maybe in round 8 or 9.

trouble for Floyd - Povetkin too strong - excellent left hook - AP win - Floyd's speed may give him a slight lead early

I like Patterson,, if he can beat Bonavena and Chuvalo he can beat Povetkin. I find it odd that Povetkin , ko'ing an overrated contender like Whyte gets him some comparisons to Sonny Liston as to what he'd do to Floyd.
