How did you miss all Perdoons misses? All the fresh air shots that were a bigger threat to the ref than Katie? Is it an eyesight problem? A comprehension problem? Seriously....
The scorecards were a disgrace. In the fight I think Katie was landing the cleaner shots but Persoon was having success of her own. I thought it was proper tight depending on how you personally judge fights, work rate or cleaner work etc. I was also watching the WBC remote scorecards on Twitter and I thought Persoon was winning from what I was reading. When they read out that first scorecard my instant reaction was wow they’ve actually gave it to Persoon and so wide too! It was a close fight and as I said I think it all depends on the individual but not a chance it was so wide (either way).
You are wrong. The margin of victory was wide. About as wide as the gap between Katie and the wild windmills from the crudely flailing Persoon missing her by several feet on occasion. That was a boxing masterclass from Katie. Virtuoso boxing technique. Their faces tell the story. Katie is relatively unmarked, whereas Persoon looks like she walked into an airplane propeller. Brilliant fight, exciting all action etc but not particularly close. The was a definite gulf in class between them. Katie was levels above.
There is not a chance Taylor won it wide. Even looking at so called “experts” on Twitter, the one’s who did have Taylor winning had her winning slim.
I had Persoon winning (again) and the 98-93 scorecard was an absolute disgrace Great fight between the two of them once again but wrong winner for me.

Couldn't score it for Katie myself. She landed cleaner punches, but there were so few of them. Ah well, I hope Persoon was well compensated. Full respect for someone who only boxes in their spare time. Must be weird going back to a full time job policing the railways.
So Taylor arguably lost again to a part-time fighter who can't box? We are so lucky to have such high calibre boxing on Sky, and all for the bargain price of a £20 PPV.

I did see them but there were plenty that were hitting her as well. Taylor was in survival mode from the middle of the fight. Her excellent, clean shots were not putting a dent in the beast so she was just backing up and avoiding her for 80% of the round. She simply couldn’t hold her off and when the two came close Taylor was bullied around like a rag doll. I usually want Taylor to lose but I actually wanted her to win last night because Persoon looked a lot bigger and stronger. Despite the 2 minute rounds I’ve never seen anyone walk forward and throw punches literally constantly like she did. It looked like she was fighting a man to me, so I was willing Taylor to somehow hurt her. How Persoon says she needs to stay at the lower weight is beyond me. I thought she looked huge and would be needing to go the other way.

Think the woman have stole the show in fight camp, this fight in my opinion was no different. I also watched it in silence. My view on fights like this, are skills vs work rate. For me Taylor showed up Persoons shear lack of skill, I had Taylor very wide because that’s what I prefer, Persoon looked out of ideas and barely caught her, some of Taylor’s footwork and movement was unreal,
I like and respect Persoon, she got robbed in the first fight but get it right, Taylor isn't like Shannon Courtenay who had a handful of amateur fights and was on the way up, Taylor was a ****ing phenom in her day, she was already passed her best when she turned over (losing to girls she'd previously beaten over 5 times)Persoon is big and strong and tough but she doesn't have half the boxing talent Taylor had in her little finger
