He was offered a chance at AJ (who he apparently always wants to fight !) for 3 major belts and lots of money, so that invalidates whatever 'injustice' is deemed to have occurred regarding Wilder.
There's a lot of politics involved in boxing and certain promoters and fighters will be harder to get in the ring than others, unless you sign with the right promoter, even if you have a high rating. We all know that.
When he lost to AJ in late 2015, he was adamant he wanted a rematch and revenge. It was his mission. That was, as you say, for British title.
3 1/2 years later he's turning down all that money, and the chance for revenge and 3 major world titles.
What more motive does a man need ?
Andy Ruiz went on to beat up AJ, so what's Whyte's excuse ?

In a world where two men hold all the belts, it makes no sense to complain that only ONE of the two (the one with 3 of the 4 major belts) is offering millions of £ to give you a shot. To focus on the other guy who's difficult to get in the ring is mental.

Whyte is a good fighter and I'm not knocking his wins over Chisora, Parker, Rivas. I was just pointing out he was paid well for them.
Everything points towards him being one of the more blessed boxers in the world, rather than a victim of injustice.
Any man who can afford to turn down 6 or 7 million pounds for the chance to avenge his only pro defeat, a shot at the world titles, must be sitting pretty.

I know. Believe me I was slagging him off more than anyone for knocking the Joshua fight back. I loved the build up to the first one, I could have done with something like that. I think he’d have had a decent chance at beating Joshua too.

I’m not a Whyte bum boy btw, I just think he gets a hard time on here. I think he’s fringe world level with big flaws he’s slowly ironing out, who’s made a couple of bad choices. When you consider he’d been mandatory dating back to when Fury was 30 stone and out the game. Fury came back and has did what he has, Whyte must be kicking himself for talking this type of fight instead of Joshua.

Adam Smith's commentary at the KO is quite amusing, he's just finished telling us Povetkin is washed up when BANG and he's silent for half a second before erupting in :yikes:

Just watched it and had Povetkin up in the first 3 rounds, Whyte looked pretty bad to be honest. Very little movement.

    Still not worth 20 quid.

I had Povetkin winning 1 & 2, Whyte won 3 for me. That said, if you let yourself get influenced by the commentary, you’d believe Whyte won all 3!

That was probably the best result for Heavyweight boxing.

The path is now clear for Fury v Joshua to take place next summer, provided they both win there next fights.

Whyte will get a big money rematch v Povetkin in December, which he should win pretty comfortably.

It was a great shot from Povetkin, but I cannot see him doing that again in the rematch especially if it takes place in a packed out arena.

Definitely the best result. AJ vs Fury needs to happen in the next year. No one really wanted to see Whyte vs Fury delaying things. If it wasn’t clear already, it’s obvious that Fury would make easy work of Whyte who’s a few levels below. He’s just too static.

Why have you still not gone to the police, to tell them about Eddie holding a gun to your head and making you pay for his PPV?
