After Saturday night where Whyte was sent into the shadow realm after an uppercut none of us seen coming. What other KO’s in boxing were so surprising that if you blinked you’d have missed it? Marquez KO of Pacquiao is one. What others?

Povetkins KO was surprising considering previous round but it was not THAT suprising.
Most suprising are one punch KOs by underdog "pilow fisted"boxers.
Which Povetkin for sure is not :D

We all pick on RJJ for his chin now. But I don't think ANYONE expected Johnson to win let alone knock him out brutally for several+ minutes.

The only KO I ever missed was Wlad vs Chambers. I was dead certain the fight was going to a decision and decided to switch off for the last few seconds of the final round, then bam Chambers is slumped on the ropes. Weird KO. Looked like Wlad didn't even hit him from some angles.

I didn't expect Tarver to do it let alone Johnson.

Was even shocked when Danny Green KOed him. After that I started to become used to it.

Good point. Those were both shocking defeats. Green was a bit surprising too. Roy had regained a bit of his reputation and some still rated him at least against protected fighters like Green. Roy of course was live underdog against Calzaghe with the likes of Hopkins and a lot of the US boxing press picking him to win. So some of the aura was still intact after a few easy wins. Even after getting pummeled by Calzaghe I don't think many anticipated a fringe world guy like Green totally destroying him inside a round. Until that point only world class fighters had beaten him.

The Phantom Ottke who, whilst being a savage puncher eschewed his power in favour of technical mastery and German slickness, only stopped 6 of his 34 opponents sparking a prime Mundine out cold. It was a come from behind KO too and had the Phantom not pulled it out of the bag his undefeated record would've been no more.
