Wilder only won a world title through very careful matchmaking.

No only that the manner in how he went about winning these fights is even more atrocious. Vitali is often criticized for his weaker resume - fine. You can't however criticize the manner in which he bested his opponents. The overwhelming majority of his defenses were totally lopsided master classes in which he not only took very little damage, he very seldom lost even a single round. Compare that to Wilder being outboxed early by Washington, Szpilka was outboxing him and had lasted nearly 9 rounds before being stopped. Szpilka a fighter notorious for his atrocious punch resistance. Ortiz was beating him in both fights and had he been a few years younger he probably would have won. Molina wobbled him with a left hook and lasted into the 9th round. The French pastry chef hung tough and lasted nearly into the 12th round - leaving Wilders face a total mess in the process. Weak resume and weak way in which he went about etching it.

    You're all horribly biased

A dominant victory over Harold Sconiers after overcoming a knockdown is HOF worthy.

The thing is this: They mostly tried to outbox him, which they did, but it takes time. Over that time if Wilder landed it was over. What most people don’t seem to understand is that Deontay Wilder was grown in a lab to make boxing pundits look stupid. He’s a min-maxed Fight Night Champion character who spent his EXP exclusively on “Straight Right.” The man’s style is drowning in red flags and yet he just hits so goddamn hard that it didn’t really matter.

Tyson Fury spent 30+ minutes boxing his ears off in the first fight and two right hands nearly undid all of it. However in second match Tyson Fury didn’t try to outbox him, like all the others, he just went in and beat the **** out of him. In doing so he broke the code and established the way to beat him for all other heavyweights.
