Exactly. Then he had the nerve to challenge Fury when he thought he was finished and weak. I never respected him after that. Looked like kicking a man when he was down.. little did he know Fury would’ve demolished him.
He stepped up on Wilder too. When they met, Bellew suddenly realized that these guys were just too big and said this in a few interviews afterwards too. Cheap bark. Bellew realized that is was better for him to just go home safe to the wife and kids, like all real fighters do.
Eddie seems to like having a few of these ex fighters hanging around and are part of the gang, Bellew and Barker being the main one's, are they employed by Sky or Matchroom ?
And on Bellew, I genuinely wouldn’t know where to start when discussing reasons I find him irritating but I’ll offer one not mentioned on this thread yet. He moaned like a ***** when the Haye rematch was postponed, but was happy to wait for the ppv loot and conveniently forgot he called a shot crippled Haye out in the first place.
They asked Bellew what should be done with the people that won't leave him alone This content is protected
When Bellew talks all I hear is a high pitched whining noise. A bit like a vacuum cleaner - but less intelligent.
I'm fed up with this forum TBH. All Bellew wants to do is live his life in peace and quiet and non of you can respect that. Same with Froch - STOP mentioning the 80,000 at Wembley, he always forgets about it.
Eh Day's gang must certainly be on a Matchroom Salary plus appearance fee. For example Tony Bellew was the man on Talksport early Monday morning to discuss the Lineal PED Pudding contest but have not heard anything from him on non Matchroom Cards. He must be on call as part of Matchroom PR Team. For a man that wants to live a normal life and be left alone he is never off TV and Radio discussing Matchroom fights at all hours. He may be doing it for nothing as Eh Day got him some serious bags of PPV loot but cannot see it. Toe Haye must command a decent appearance fee for his salesman skills on Box Office week paid for by the PPV Mugths.

Agreed. They need a clear out at Sky Sports Boxing. The comments section on the Whyte v Povetkin fight on YouTube said it all. Everyone can see how terribly biased they are. It’s nauseating. As for Povetkin, I thought he was extremely respectful...unlike Bellew when he dealt with Flores and already started selling the next fight against Haye.
Off main-topic I know but British Boxing Broadcasting will never have a duo close to Darke and McCrory every again. I admire Barry Jones greatly but not sure he gels as well with John Rawling (who is a great main I find as well).
