This one came up a while back. You should add a poll. I'm sure Sumbu came out ahead.

I don't know. I see GGG catching up with him.

I am confused. Catch up with him in the previous poll? Sumbu is still just ahead in that.

Sumbu at his very best gets a decision. And I don't see a freak Round 1 ko from GGG either.

Sumbu was, at his best, an amazingly good middle weight. Arguably top 15 all time. But I see Golovkin, even in his twilight years, landing some telling body shots and finishing it with the overhand right.

Golovkin couldn't land a body shot on Canelo over 24 rounds of boxing

I think GGG might be too strong and cuts off the ring too well. I don't think any MW in history has an easy night with GGG. Well, maybe RJJ might win without too much fuss, but no one else.

This is a great match up, a proper game of cat and mouse. I can see arguments for both sides and a draw isn’t out of the question. There isn’t an obvious pick for a clear win and scoring might come down to preference in style.

Gun to my head I’d take Golovkin by majority decision, coming on strong late.

Kalambay was a tricky fighter and it's possible he could win even against GGG. It could well go to the cards with maybe Golovkin's forward movement, pressure and bigger punches edging it.

A prime Gennady comes on strong wearing Kalambay down , he's a level above Sumbu who's a very good fighter
