I expected a better opponent for Hrgovic, This will be another short fight and an easy victory, I guess the next opponent will be better...
I heard they were looking at Franklin or Washington. Assuming Covid caused some issues with that? They should give Erik Pfeifer a buzz and show Dubois how it's done.
Pala hasn't fought for 6 years. Decent heavyweight ten years ago, but after such a long period of inactivity Pala not a good opponent for Hrgovic. I was hoping for a current fringe contender like Washington, Martin or Breazeale.
Yeah this fight shouldn't be defended. But Covid probably caused issues with those. Still they definitely could have gotten someone better from the European scene. Hammer or Rudenko even. Hopefully his next fight is significantly better.
If Pala were at least active in the last year or two against some lower level guys I'd say this were a decent matchup but six years of inactivity is a lot of overcome against a top undefeated prospect with power.
If he's going to increase the activity then these questionable fights aren't as bad. Crossing fingers that we see him in a big fight next year.
