    Anthony Cacace born February 2, 1989 is a 5'10 Super Featherweight with a 18-1 7 KO's record. Born in in fighting out of Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. Born to an Italian father and an Irish mother, Anto has had a frustrating stop-start career, a pro for nearly a decade yet with almost nothing to show for it. And the one time he stepped up in class, he walked away from it losing his 0. Although in my estimation and various others... unfairly. By all rights he should have handed Martin Joseph Ward his first career loss, but he was in Martin's backyard, and since it was close, he never had a prayer. He's probably one of the best featherweights in the UK, even held by Carl Frampton as a guy with world-class ability and power. But he suffered from lack of drive, and has had a hard time putting it together as a pro, yet still managed to win a bunch of Irish amateur titles half-assing it. He's awkward as hell, quite slick, is heavy handed, solid whiskers, and has an incredibly frustrating extreme southpaw stance. But finally on the evening of November 30th 2019, everything gelled, and he put forth a career-best performance winning an SD, which should have been a UD against the heavy-handed wrecking machine Sam Bowen. Hopefully, Anto already in his early thirties, can get his career on track, and live up to his full potential, and is possibly one of the true sleepers in the division who could pull more than a few upsets.     I knew nothing of him, and based solely on record I expected him to be feather fisted. How wrong I was!

    Frampton says he's one of the hardest hitters he's sparred iirc.

    I'd like Navarette to return to 130lbs and challenge Cacace for his newly earned strap.

    I think Cacace might very well finish what the Wilson kid started. Great fight either way, I suspect.

    I'd much rather fight a non-Brit fighter with a KO 100% than a Brit or an Irish with a hideously low one. I've been telling the board for years that we can all punch holes in castle walls over here when we choose to use our power and Cacace switched to power punching mode on Saturday night.

    He’s won me over. Wins over Cordina, Warrington, and now Wood. Pretty solid win streak. Always great to see late bloomers succeed. Would like to see him take on Foster or winner of Navarrete/Suarez next.

    Class fighter, arguably number 1 in the world at super feather. Always knew he was talented. Just looked like he would never get the opportunities.

    It's a shame Sam Bowen just disappeared from boxing, another top fighter. He gave Cacace's his toughest fight, I think he'd have been world level too.

    Tough guy, fan friendly. I see his main negative as having not so fast hands so a counter puncher might give him problems.

    He'd beat Navarrette for sure, who as a come forward and wild puncher is right up Cacace's alley.
