Agreed, AJ is quicker when he shortens his shots, he unloads in combination pretty quickly for a big man because he has that ability to shorten his punches that many big men lack. It's why he's so effective in close when most tall boxers suck on the inside. Wilder I think is the opposite his single shot speed is impressive for his reach but he can't really throw in combination quickly beyond a 1-2 as his footwork is so poor and he doesn't have the knack of shortening his punches.
He's done alright being so average hasn't he lol Love the haters, just watch the fights and enjoy ffs, all this fanboy rubbish towards one fighter or other is nonsense. Just because you prefer one fighter, don't let it make you blindly hate towards another, especially when it isn't the case in point. It does nothing but make you look stupid.
I didnt read through all the replies so I do apologise if its been stated already but when it comes to AJ and other fighters like him I believe people mistake speed and being explosive, I believe AJ while not exactly having the fastest (or slowest tbh) hands, he can be quite explosive with some of his shots/movements - as already mentioned - the uppercut and left hook he hit and dropped ruiz with, short bursts as opposed to say a Khan, who had fast hands and always threw with speed in mind
This whole thread is dumb AJ has fast hands I don't know why it's even being spoke about. Water is wet, fire burns, AJ has fast hands for 240+lbs man. @Jimmy Elders you are an absolute fairy, get a job you nonce.
shut up fake Irish man I’ll knock you and your dad out with the same slap you little punk my job is destroying dorks like you
