Yes but that’s the whole point of DAZN’s strategy — they were willing to overpay by a ton the going rate to sign their big-name fighter in Canelo. They can’t then turn around and say, ‘Well that’s an awful lot of money.’ If you guarantee someone a certain payday per fight, you have to assess what’s realistic for you when you make that offer.
