Against fury he didn’t let his hands go at all vs Joshua he had him finished but wlad boxed him rather than trying too finish him off. But was the loss because he was 40 or bad game plan or error of judgment

More age then game plan although I think Fury would always be a tough fight. In his prime he'd dominate AJ.

I think a combination of both mixed with a lack of urgency in the corner

I dont remember banks ever raising his voice in the corner, Emmanuel would be having a ****ing shouting match and punching him in the chest

I think wlad figured the fight was closish early given both guys lack of activity and he probably figured fury would run out of gas and he would get him later on

Fury took away his jab and had better footwork and use of range. Wlad had to play the inside game to beat fury and he just couldn't do it. I think age played a part in it and prolonged success in dominant fashion forces him to never really need to adjust

Both. Wlad lost his stamina and reflexes and looked way past it vs both of them.
He couldn't let his hands go vs Fury since he had no gas tank and couldn't react anymore.

It was the damage my boy Deontay did to him in sparring. He was never the same since.

Game plan. Wlad was great, but his ring IQ was low. He was never good at adapting.

People forget that Wlad did try to finish AJ off in the second half of round 5 but got tired and gassed and that’s why his energy wasn’t as good in round 6. He did try to stop AJ but was hesitant of going for it because of his energy levels. He also didn’t believe AJ would recover from that shot.

AJ wasn’t anywhere near his prime when he fought Wlad either to be fair.

Add to that he got complacent, and he had Shannon Briggs stalking him when he was just doing a little paddle boarding lol

Think age played a part but more importantly he was finally fighting good big men. Wlad relied on the same game plan mostly...used his reach/height advantage judgement of distance expertly but he fought mostly smaller men. It worked a treat against them. The bigger guys he fought we,rent great. Similar to wilder who uses similar tactics just without dominating with the jab. The big men he fought we,re mostly average guys same as klitchko.

When they come up against good guys with similar reaches/heights etc...they both ran out of ideas. Wlad did against fury anyway...wilder against a fit fury the 2nd fight as well.

Wlad looked pretty clueless when his tactics never worked. The klitchko,s we,re great fighters but they we,re slightly lucky they missed the good big men kicking about.
